  1. We saw this last night on Netflix. My wife and my son loved it. It was a great family Holiday fun movie. Kurt Russel really played a great Santa. Made me a believer again. Go check it out.
  2. Seriously, I’m no engineer. But I don’t think the lineart transformation is really going to work in poseable toy form. If it’s static, meaning standing pose only and for study purposes or like kits, it’s going or might going to work. And I think Bandai did that on their 1/72 kit but as Sanity pointed out it didn’t work out as intended. As a moving and poseable toy, I would say there’s no other way of doing a perfect transformation without the swivel bar. But if we’re going the V1 route, then we’re losing that perfect teansformation vibe and that nosecone and joint should be re-engineered to make the figure sturdy. For me, even if I wanted to see a Battroid with waist articulation that is not a model kit, I rather not lose the sturdiness in Battroid mode in this deluxe figure.
  3. The detachable swing bar is just there as an option. If you want the nosecone to swivel for more articulation, you have to detach it. If not, you keep the swivel joint as is for extra stability.
  4. If anyone still looking for Valkyrie Factory SSP’s, it’s available at Show Z Store for $71.99. Free shipping to the US.

    Cheers then.
  6. Yeah, this is my third time using them. And so far, it's great. Thanks for that video link. All those option parts made the Red Astraea looks menacing. I love it.

I know 'who' they are and 'what' they've created, @borgified. And I respect everyone's thing here. TBH, I would also love to have signatures from those 'guys', but going to conventions and big crowded places is not my thing so I don't get a chance of getting one. But as far as my post is concern I'm just doing what most members do here for years -- throw some quirk remarks, poke fun, answers queries, and most of all respect other members 'choices'. 'Nuff said.

  9. Yeah. That's what I noticed too. I don't like it so I hope it's removable. Also, I know they somehow based it on the MG v2 kit. And to be honest, I'm not a big fan of those extra added white pointy things on the wings. It made the Balaena Beam Cannons look like a 'p_nis' on side profile.

What a way to ruin those gorgeous box art.
  11. As long that they don't package it with big box just for this small items. You know how crazy Bandai packs their stuff.
  12. If you haven't ordered from them there's a way to see the shipping cost to Canada by putting an available item to the cart. And on the right side panel you'll see the Cart and Shipping Calculator buttons. Click the Shipping Calculator Button and select the country where you want it to be shipped. There you will see shipping method and cost available for you. Here's a screenshot. Remember, this interactive computation only works with items that are available and not 'unavailable/sold out'.
  13. It's a cheap move by Bandai. But it's how they make money. Me too. I'll probably get 2 just to offset the shipping cost. And besides with this scale, I'm just going to get Hikaru's 1J and 1S. Maybe 1A if ever. And I think 2 set will cover 3 Hikaru Valks. VF-1J uses AMM-1 Missiles. Both VF-1S and VF-1A carried UUM-7 Micro Missile Pods in the movie. Leaving me with 2 extra sets of RMS-1 Reaction Missiles. It's from a series called Kikan Taizen that Bandai displayed before containing different ships in different scales from different animes.

    Happy Thanksgiving indeed.
  16. I'm going to wait and see if this guy will recreate his rendition in DX form.
