  1. The two characters out match each other in different ways. Supes outmatches Bats in strength unless Bats uses Kyrptonite. Bats outmatches Supes in brains, hands down. If this is to be a vs movie, and that is stupid it should follow that storyline from the animated series that brought the two animated series together. Wayne Corp moves to merge/ally with Lex Corp and expand into metropolis, drawing the Ire of Supes when Bruce Wayne horns in on Lois Lane. Wacky hijinks ensue and the pair eventually team up to bring down Lex and any Gotham baddies he brings in to take down Supes. Biggest problem there, MoS did not introduce Luthor as a villian. So then this movie will have to. Next problem, which Bats are we dealing with, a new Batman, in which case they have to retell his origin, or are they going to continue the Nolan verse and use a suddenly resurrected publicly Bruce Wayne, or his successor Robin? I like JGL as much as the next guy, but I can't really see him in the bat suit against Cavils Superman as well as I could see Bale. We will see however.
  2. Eh, sounds ok if you know the source material, but too many moviegoers won't so you would spend too much time introducing the characters. Giant ensemble pieces like this require some backstory build up. That is why the Marvel/Avengerds movieverse works so well, give each major character their own film to introduce them, then throw them together. Not just throw them all together at once and tell their origins there.
  3. Yes I know an odd topic, but where do we think Alaska Base was suppossed to be located? Let's face it Alaska is a big place, so is Alaska Base in the middle of no where or possibly colocated with an existing facility like Elmendorf or Eileson?
  4. I want some clear shots of the pictures behind the prototype, probably explains the gimmics
  5. So I'm assuming they somehow deployed the soyuz's parachute as a means of catching them?
  6. Very cool job, any way to have the canopy floating away, or like the others said crack his helmet?
  7. Ok I can accept them changing the invasion with its battles being a terrestrial one, but that video really seems to change how Rackam really won the battle, maybe it is just the propaganda version and not what Enders discovers
  8. Oh I agree, that will make it extremely hard to do, and to make it lineart accurate in battroid mode it would have to slide back so the leading edges are flush. If they do go with something like that they will probably just leave the slot open, especially at this scale.
  9. I am curious how they will accomplish high speed mode. I wonder if they will do it like in the master file, if so that is an ingenious way to do it, but that wing root will have to be pretty thing to accomodate that.
  10. This has to be the stupidist thing I've seen all day, and I work for the government.
  11. I say release the known schemes and kits later so people can make their own, maybe with decal sheets for those who are paint impared.
  12. Interesting looking, but is it strictly online multiplayer? I hope not I like a game with a story, not just MP only garbage. Right now the biggest impression I get it is that it is an MP 1st person mass effect clone, ME powers and all.
  13. um why are you reviving a six years dead thread? serious thread necromancy there
  14. I agree Hikuro, but apparently RTD wrote her as his mother, and the other one kneeling with eyes covered as his father, and that is what they were called in the script, my guess some line was cut explaining who she was.
  15. The DW books brought her out of E-Space, whether those are canon or not is up for debate. Also the woman in End of Time was suppossed to be his mother IIRC. Of course bringing back Romana would have an interesting side effect, with the Doctor married to River, and Romana the last female timelord, how would the doctor react, repopulate his race with Romana or stay faithful to River?
  16. My jaw just hit the floor and broke you bastard, great work
  17. I took the boys to it openning day, they really enjoyed it, it was hardly new material, but was put together in a fun way. I'm sure it will do better on DVD, it was a bad weekend for it to come out, as even the theatre we went to was still showing ST:ID and IM3.
  18. I've seen it to describe my son's condition by a couple UK folks in the past, it seems to be regarded similarly to the word retarded or retard here in the states.
  19. Yeah two decades later, not four years and straight out of the academy.
  20. The movie can't please everyone, but like I said since JJA is leaving the franchise he could have left it in a place where, if the next person running it wanted, they could set it back towards the prime timeline or diverge further, that is all I was saying there. As for Kirk's plothole, you really expect people to believe that a drunkard from a bar with no history is going to turn into the captain of the fleet's flag ship after four years in an academy? One throwaway line about his service on a civilian ship, or some prior enlisted experience, something would have made it far more plausible, even at this late stage.
  21. Actually no I am not, I wanted to like the movie, but the issues with it were so glaring that even my 9 yr old was calling them out. The writing was just super sloppy.
  22. Quick Fixes that would greatly improve Star Trek Into Darkness. As I have stated before I did not care for the new Star Trek movie, I found there to be many poorly written scenes, and really the whole thing felt rushed and unpolished. After some thinking I feel that the following small changes would make a big improvement on the film, warning spoilers ahead:
