Oh I agree, that will make it extremely hard to do, and to make it lineart accurate in battroid mode it would have to slide back so the leading edges are flush. If they do go with something like that they will probably just leave the slot open, especially at this scale.

I am curious how they will accomplish high speed mode. I wonder if they will do it like in the master file, if so that is an ingenious way to do it, but that wing root will have to be pretty thing to accomodate that.

This has to be the stupidist thing I've seen all day, and I work for the government. -
I say release the known schemes and kits later so people can make their own, maybe with decal sheets for those who are paint impared.

Interesting looking, but is it strictly online multiplayer? I hope not I like a game with a story, not just MP only garbage. Right now the biggest impression I get it is that it is an MP 1st person mass effect clone, ME powers and all.

um why are you reviving a six years dead thread? serious thread necromancy there

I agree Hikuro, but apparently RTD wrote her as his mother, and the other one kneeling with eyes covered as his father, and that is what they were called in the script, my guess some line was cut explaining who she was.

The DW books brought her out of E-Space, whether those are canon or not is up for debate. Also the woman in End of Time was suppossed to be his mother IIRC. Of course bringing back Romana would have an interesting side effect, with the Doctor married to River, and Romana the last female timelord, how would the doctor react, repopulate his race with Romana or stay faithful to River?

I took the boys to it openning day, they really enjoyed it, it was hardly new material, but was put together in a fun way. I'm sure it will do better on DVD, it was a bad weekend for it to come out, as even the theatre we went to was still showing ST:ID and IM3.

I've seen it to describe my son's condition by a couple UK folks in the past, it seems to be regarded similarly to the word retarded or retard here in the states.

The movie can't please everyone, but like I said since JJA is leaving the franchise he could have left it in a place where, if the next person running it wanted, they could set it back towards the prime timeline or diverge further, that is all I was saying there. As for Kirk's plothole, you really expect people to believe that a drunkard from a bar with no history is going to turn into the captain of the fleet's flag ship after four years in an academy? One throwaway line about his service on a civilian ship, or some prior enlisted experience, something would have made it far more plausible, even at this late stage.- 1020 replies

Actually no I am not, I wanted to like the movie, but the issues with it were so glaring that even my 9 yr old was calling them out. The writing was just super sloppy.- 1020 replies

Quick Fixes that would greatly improve Star Trek Into Darkness. As I have stated before I did not care for the new Star Trek movie, I found there to be many poorly written scenes, and really the whole thing felt rushed and unpolished. After some thinking I feel that the following small changes would make a big improvement on the film, warning spoilers ahead:- 1020 replies

And that really is where this latest ST movie fails, it could have pulled the timeline back towards the prime timeline so that things could still happen in a similar manner as they did before. Instead it forced it to diverge even more, and now all of the original movies have to be thrown out as a result. The impact further down the line is not as known but had they done what I suggested a few posts back and even ended with them going off on the 5 yr mission, then the impact to the timeline would be much slighter and could even normalize over time. Think of it like a regular oscilation, or a string that's been plucked, leave it alone and it will eventually go back to its normal stable state, keep plucking it and it will take longer having more and more effects down the line, and possibly even shifting the line. But apply a damping force and it renormalizes that much faster, and can even return to the original state as well down the line. The JJ verse movies keep plucking the string and never apply a damping effect, and each pertubation shifts the whole furhter away with new miracle tech getting introduced with each itteration that changes the game significantly.- 1020 replies
