  1. Pretty cool, one minor nit, in zero-G environ/exo-atm smoke just forms a cloud, it doesn't rise. Smoke rises due to temperature differential with the air. In 0G is just expands out in all directions.
  2. Am I the only one who gets a 7 samuri vibe from the picture? Not that I have an issue with that, a mashup of the 7S with Star Wars with them capturing the DS plans could be pretty cool.
  3. OMG I want!! You're planning to make this an airsoft gun right? That will be beyond epic. Also what 3-D printer are you using?
  4. It's a strange world when the trailer for the ID4 sequel feels more like a Star Trek movie then the actual Star Trek Trailer.

  6. Memento was a fantastic movie that went over the heads of your more idiotic moviegoers. I got it on the first viewing and thought it was one of the smartest movies I'd ever seen with a clever way of telling its story that still left the audience guessing as to what the truth really was. To remake it is a horrible idea.
  7. Giving Battlefront a pass for the same reason I gave Titanfall a pass, no single player campaign. I don't care how pretty it is, if it doesn't have a storyline to go with it, I'm out.
  8. The Prometheus script, pre-Lindelof was a great read and a solid story. You can still see aspect of it try and claw their way through his botched doctoring of it. So long as they keep Lindelof and his croanies away, this sounds like it could shape up to be pretty good. Still, too bad it kills the Blomkamp Alien 5 that erases 3 and 4.
  9. I spoke to my stepson's dad today and his router has everything I am looking for built in plus an app that allows him to monitor from his computer and phone. I asked him to get me the brand and model, might be time to retire and replace the old circa 2004 linksys. Maybe I should go with an enterprise level wifi router.
  10. Wow, so you still have to own an X-Box, PASS!!!
  11. Does anyone know of a good, preferably free or cheap, wifi monitoring app/program that I can track our houses data usage across all the hardware connected to it? It looks like I might have a data vampire and I am want to track it down. Something that allows me to remotely cap a device's data usage would be great too.
  12. I have two quick questions about Windows 10 and X-Box games as the MS website kind of dances around it. #1: Do you have to own an XBox in order to play the Xbox 360/One games on a Windows 10 Machine? It seems like you have to run the game on the console and can then play it one the computer, which is all kind of BS. #2: Do you then have to use X-Box Live? I have no interest in the service as I do not play anything multiplayer and just play the campaigns.
  13. Why not build it in Space Engineers instead? Then you could actually fly it too.
  14. Where are people stateside buying their Bandai Models from now? I cannot find the Bandai T-70 X-Wing, and the Revell ones look horrid in comparison. I want to display it next to my Bandai T-65. I checked Amazon, hlj, all the local hobby shops, no one is carrying it.
  15. That trailer sent me to my happy place.
  16. Cool, what is dodonpachi?
  17. http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=280535 This is the first time I have seen the two side by side. Overall I like the planform of the design. The new wing shape looks good, but I still don't like the mid-chord split. The sleeker nose has a nice profile and the canopy has been stretched forward. I would like to see a good side view to see if that is because the cockpit has been raised to provide better forward visibility. If the wings did not split at all I would almost love the design. The narrower nose profile however leaves it looking slightly needle nosed due to the lower bulk. Some kind of forward chines, canard, or even an extended LERX off the main wings would really make the design pop. The smaller engines and laser cannons don't even bother me, technology improves and things get smaller as a result. I also did some playing around in PS to see how I might have changed the T-70. It is rough, but creates a more robust and balanced design I think. Plus I would straight up move the wing split outspan of the engines and not have the split be mid chord. True, it would not longer be a true X shape, but it would show a design successor.
