  1. Just got notice that this shipped out from ShowZstore! I guess I will find out in 15-25 business days! Twich
  2. My thoughts after handling it over night….. I am scared to try to transform it! I am truly impressed with the level of detail and engineering that went into making this transformable toy! First off, the fast packs: mine do not stay firmly attached at all the fastening points. The fast pack parts that attach to the vertical stabilizer/ arm shield do not go in fully and it looks “sloppy”. I am not discounting user error in this, but the directions are less than stellar in explanation and detail. Next, the two sets of gunpods….Bandai knew that people would use the fake ones for mounting to the toy in fighter mode, because the gunpods are so floppy when you use the “real” gunpods, that it makes them unusable on the toy in fighter. While the toy has the fast packs, they have a little hook in the front of the attachment points that keeps them together and tight and unable to be floppy. Overall, I’m impressed so far. I can remember getting the first Yamato 1/72 YF-21 and thinking Wow! This is so cool! Then the revision with fast packs came out, and I thought, they did even better! I then managed to get a Yamato 1/60 VF-22S Millia Custom. I thought the engineering was so cool, but I could not keep the legs on, and they popped off on their own. I ended up selling the VF-22S off, much to my chagrin. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to Jenius’ Scorched Earth Toys videos on the Bandai DX Chogokin YF-21! Twich
  3. Anyone else know an easy trick to get the fast pack part to attach to the vertical stabilizer? I don’t want to push too hard and break something! Twich
  4. Just today got my copy of the DX YF-21 and the Hi Metal R VF-0A +Ghost Booster, both from BBTS! No bent head laser! Twich
  5. Yes! How much would a kit like this be? With all the hardware, nuts and pins and screws needed to build it? Twich
  6. Got this update email as well, looks like it is going to be quite a thing come December. Twich
  7. Does anyone know if Toynami will display their upcoming Mospeada stuff at New York Comicon? Twich
  8. Does anyone know if this toy maker will be at the upcoming New York Comicon? Twich
  9. It amazes me the amount of detail and originality of this design! Please keep us posted with all of your custom Macross variable fighters! Twich
  10. My Avatar is a SD YF-19. This was one of my favorite Variable Fighters at the time in the early 2000’s when I found MacrossWorld. Twich
  11. You could think of it like the US Marine Amphibious Assault Ship. It does the deployment of Marines, but also hovercraft, landing craft, vehicles, tanks, Artillery and Helicopters and Harriers. If the deck is coated with the heat resistant material, even F-35B’s Twich

Seeing this makes me wish and hope that Bandai does a DX VF-2SS. I just love that design and have for decades! Twich
  13. I maybe in the minority, but I think the more companies that we have making VF-1, Mospeada ride armors and legioss/tread transformable mecha, the better it is. I happen to like this. If it is 1/60 scale, or bigger, then so much the better. I am a little leery about the 1/18 scale Legioss, but I am really liking it and hope it is easily available. Twich
  14. I paid for this all from the start, but haven’t received any word as to availability or shipping. Also Australia to US, says 15-25 business days to ship and receive. So I’m hoping by October. Twich
  15. Looks like this maybe in stock at ShowZstore? I have never ordered from them, so I have no clue. Twich
  16. Well, that looks pretty cool and is quite the stand display for a Hi Metal R toy! Looking forward to what is ahead! Twich
  17. Devils? So, which smells are those in the US supposed to be smelling? Does it mean we have taken the bait? We need a shower? The cross cultural nuisances can be so confusing. I’m just waiting for the release date on this FUGU God of Flame VF-1S from ShowZstore. Twich
  18. Looks like this is in stock at BBTS! Twich
  19. Any word on when in August BBTS is supposed to get their stock in? Twich
  20. I just saw this movie with my two son’s and my oldest son’s fiancé. I laughed through the whole movie. Lots of memorable lines. I enjoyed it for the movie and didn’t have expectations going in. Twich
  21. I just ordered/pre-ordered one of these from BBTS. I’m excited and hope that it is as good as it looks. I hope that BBTS gets it soon. Twich
  22. The “A” model had a shorter head laser Twich
  23. Buying it will depend on how much they want for it and the general availability of the toys. If these are ultra expensive, they might not sell well. But put them around the price of the ThreeZero VF-1 Robo-Dou. Twich
  24. I am really enjoying this time, I Love that we are getting the venerable VF-1 from multiple companies, and they are all different in their execution. Looking at this design, I am really enjoying it. I agree that it has the Vf-2SS vibe going on, but for me, that makes it that much more appealing!. I hope that these are available outside of Hong Kong, or even better, since they are under the Robotech name, available at local physical stores! I would drive to Target or Walmart to get me a VF-1J! We shall see what the future brings! Twich
  25. I hope that with the World Wide Macross thing, that some of these lore and statistic books will be translated to English(and/or other languages) for people who do not speak Japanese, but are fascinated with the minutia of these statistics and facts for the lore behind Macross and Variable Fighters!
