  1. I too am glad that I didn’t buy one from Mandarake. I second the sentiments that I wish it were a DX, but maybe this is to test the waters, so to speak. Twich
  2. What the heck is Three-Body Universe? It would be nice if it were the new series and maybe the announcement that Macross is finally releasing on Disney Plus! Twich

    DX VF-27 Revival

So it looks like this is the companion release to the VF-25F Tornado Pack release. I really like the VF-27 and wish it were to get more spotlight. Can’t wait for the listings! Twich
  4. I think the fact that it has actual thrust exhaust cones coming out of the feet makes it look almost like a Valkyrie. I wonder if this signals a change in Gundam design, where the size of the exhaust thruster bell is proportional to the amount of thrust that the specs say come out of it. The design is very busy. I will have to see the anime, if it becomes available soon after release in the US on the streaming platforms is subscribe to. Twich
  5. My wife and son went to NYC Comic-Con, and the Bandai booth had special editions of various GunPla. My son got a MG Aile Strike in black and neon pink, like that RX-78-2. She got me a clear RG Gundam 00Quant with all clear parts and a MG RX-78-2 3.0 in black and neon green highlights, very striking! This scheme reminds me of it. Twich
  6. sounds like a line from a Frank Zappa song....."A little Green Rosetta....it really makes a muffin better!" Twich
  7. So I guess I may have missed it, did they give dates for any of the DX Chogokin Valkyries? I know the Tornado Valk is already up for preorder at some places, but don’t know about the VF-27y Super Parts. Twich

    DX VF-27 Revival

So is this like a pre amble to the Tamashii event that is going on on November 15th? Twich
  9. I, for one want to support anyone to make a quality representation of a transformable Valkyrie. I enjoy my Three Zero, Bandai, Yamato and Arcadia Valkyries and want to continue to buy new Valkyries. We, as fans of the series and the collectible toys should encourage this. If the toy is crap, don’t buy it, but I hope it is quality. We shall see. Twich
  10. Looking at the pictures up on BBTS, it looks like a panel on the outside of the legs slide down in fighter mode, at least the picture showed it down in fighter mode. This is 8 inches tall, so that puts in roughly in scale with the 1/60, ThreeZero take on the VF-1. I rather enjoy the Three Zero interpretation of this and am hoping that I can acquire this too! Twich
  11. This is up at BBTS

    DX VF-27 Revival

The one copy that I got the first time this came out came with a crumbling, broken nose cone. I would very much enjoy a New DX Chogokin VF-27 Super with matte finish! Twich
  13. I think that this is very interesting. The design of the legs and how panels slide back to cover the feet/thrust vectoring is an interesting new thing. I hope that we get some in depth pictures detailing all about this. Twich
  14. Isn’t that the YF-1R thing from Robotech Battlecry? Twich
  15. Sorry if this question sounds stupid, but does this mean it will release outside of Japan? Specifically North America? Twich
  16. I just saw this on Netflix when it released and I have to say that the design of the Gundam EX really sparked something with me. Also, the show made the GM machine seem less like cannon fodder made of explodium armor. I Love that this is getting a Chogokin release and I hope that someday I will be able to afford one. This is quickly becoming one of my preferred Gundam designs since Gundam Exia and Gundam 00 Raiser. Twich
  17. Sorry for my ignorance, but is this a new thing? Or is it a rebroadcast of a 30 year old radio drama starring Macross 7 characters? Thanks, Twich

    Macross Books

I am assuming that these are custom model kits that this magazine or some amazing modeler's put together for this magazine? I have to say that I am really digging the designs! The different fast packs for the VF-1's and the SV-51 custom is just awesome, I think I prefer that to Kawamori's design, as you don't have to worry about floppy wings in a toy! Twich
  19. Just a questions for those that might know the answer.....would this be available from the Tamashii Nations booth, say at the New York City Comicon? My wife and son are going there on Thursday and are going to be shopping for my birthday present while there, so I am hoping that they would have a good selection of Macross DX Chogokin toys. thanks to any who might be able to answer this for me! Twich
  20. did you do this with a fine tip gundam marker? Twich
  21. I really wish that they would make a metal build of this or at least a master grade! This has such Zeta vibes to it and the fact that it is a transformable mobile suit just drives right up my Macross Love vibes! The fact that this has only ever been an HG kit just stinks! Twich
  22. Bandai teased the DX Chogokin VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie a little while ago for The Macross 7 anniversary (don’t remember which one), so I’m waiting to see! Twich
  23. Your three designs are absolutely amazing! I am in envy of you and cannot wait to see what your mass production, retail kits will look like! You are truly talented! Twich
