Save explained BW has nothing to do with WF one day licenses. CW doesn't have a public history with BW... But they did say they licensed with HG for their original tomcats because BW wasn't interested (or wouldn't respond at all). Once you go HG though, you can't go back.

I only know Calibre Wings to be one person... Not sure if he has employees but I imagine here's happy he gives the impression of a larger organization.

I love my master made Sdf-1 also... And I've seen excellent 3p transformers. The level of indignation on this site over, again, something that in no way negatively impact anything a BW licensee was doing, is quite amusing.

Can't hurt to ask... worst case you just don't hear back. That said, they definitely did not go through HG. BBTS seems to have a relationship with them but probably not much help here.

They did TV Max and DYRL Hayao... Hardly the most iconic... Order is quite random so far really.

Only baseless speculation at this point. A DYRL VF-1A Max and a TV Hayao are curiously staggered. Seems a TWE TV Hayao is in order. That would probably be followed by a DYRL VF-1A Hikaru...

I'd echo that, I feel for most stores I'm pretty low maintenance but I have been a little high touch with them, mostly for my own screw ups, and they have been great to work with.

I don't know about sales being "a lot" better. Sales might have been better... but they'd have to have been really significantly better to soften the 'thud' that thing made when it hit the market. At 1/100 scale, the pilot doesn't seem a huge deal. They should have split the production run and sold half as Nexx and half as Faerie.

They adjusted the fit of a couple flaps/balls, nothing major but probably on par with fixing that wing that pops off too easily. I'd be shocked if they don't adjust that overly tight shoulder joint also. I wouldn't expect anything beyond that but those would help a lot.

For Amazon, brand new stuff sold by Amazon is packaged well. Buying stuff later, through Amazon market place (even fulfilled by Amazon) means rolling the dice on packaging.

For the Yamato 1/200 VFC, you are probably better off buying the whole set. They sold so poorly that people are still liquidating entire sets pretty cheap.

Yeah, I've complained about this elsewhere. I believe FJ has box sizes that restrict you. While bigger boxes are possible, they limit you to the biggest box they have available. Rinkya used to send me boxes the size of coffins by fairy...FJ stops a bit bigger than a Yamato 1/48.
