I would 100% give you that. I mispronounced "HIkaru" for ages. I don't watch the shows often and when I do, I'm usually reading the subtitles since I don't speak the language so I definitely have made that mistake too. If the common thought is that "Legioss" is a name, like it's named after Akari Legioss and he just threw his last name on his sweet design, then I would agree that everyone should make the effort to get it right (pronouncing it as he would have). That's also why I asked if we're just dealing with a completely made up word. My guess has always been that "Legion" is the is the word Artmic used as the basis after it was decided the Vector should connect to a secondary vehicle for more toy potential and Legion denotes a group acting as one force... of course that could all very easily be just something I made up in my head with no connection to reality (and a Legion is a huge fighting force so not so applicable).

What is this clearly wrong talk? There are SOOOOOO many words that you say differently in one language than another. If I were speaking Japanese and used my pronunciation, I would be CLEARLY wrong. However, I'm speaking English. Again, Television, Tornado... there are so many of these.... not sure what the problem is. Saying "Oh you can't trust the Romanization" seems like a cop out... that's what would be painted on the plane, that's what people would read in their language. Don't mean to sound ungrateful for the feedback on the video. Just seemed a good point for this conversation because I've gotten some comments on it before. Someone even told me the proper English pronunciation was "Lee juss" which blew my mind.

I'm sticking to the 'television' analogy here. In Japanese it may very well be "leggyohs" but that has almost zero bearing on how English speakers would pronounce it. That's like saying it needs to be pronounced "TLEAD" because... that EVER would happen in English. Real life example: "Tornado" fighter plane. I bet the Brits don't pronounce it the same as the Italians or Spaniards. That doesn't make the Italians or Spaniards wrong... it means they're speaking a different language.

I'm not saying the TV super parts are confirmation of anything... because Bandai... but it certainly seems like we'll see a TV Hikaru 1S and a DYRL Focker 1S in the future... especially if they keep selling like hot cakes.

I broke a cell phone once and thought I'd repair it on my own. The repair set was less than $10 an came with some little plastic prying tools that I use very frequently with toys.... never did fix that cell phone though.

It's true, I suppose. But you wouldn't tell a Spanish speaker they're saying "television" wrong because they don't pronounce it the same way as an English speaker.

This won't be an official Macross good and won't be sold in BigWest territory. I think it's going to attempt to fly under the radar... which is something an F-14 should be capable of.

I think COVID probably curtailed some DX plans this year, hopefully next year has lots of DX releases.

I'm pretty sure the ability to fold out is a result of the pivot point that allows them to move to the lower position.

You know, I bet you're supposed to, but I don't see it in the instructions anywhere and it's not at all necessary... but I don't know why the knees have a lower position if it's not for that mode.

This has been precisely my concern with them, especially when they pulled the "we need your funds now" on the delayed Arcadia VF-0D toy. My sensitivity toward a store's customer service becomes heightened when they demand up front payment, like they do on more and more toys, and then fail to deliver after the toy has been out FOR MONTHS. Something fishy is going on over there. I'm 100% done doing business with them once my remaining orders come through, or they go out of business, whichever comes first.
