  1. Okay, so let's imagine that Sentinel were to announce a Riobot Tread. Do you think people would be upset if they only ever made the blue one? I just can't imagine at the Riobot price point of $200-$250 they would sell many red/green/black ones. Like, I imagine an Inbit figure would sell more than a red Tread.
  2. I'd guess they came up on a couple boxes of the reissue stock... Not that Sentinel reissued.
  3. First transformers I've watched in a long time. Felt like season 4 of a longer running show and made me think season 1, 2, and be 3 would be more fun.
  4. I wonder if that's the art that convinced the folks at HG to change the official Tread specs to make it larger.
  5. IF you can find the HLJ listing it will give the box dimensions (I also put the box dimensions up on anymoon). Unfortunately, that doesn't tell you which box Mandarake will use. I don't weight the toys in the box but it's pretty hefty for its size, the toy alone is about 325 grams.

    Hi-Metal R

COVID messed this whole year up. No way to tell what the game plan was and no way to know if they'll ever get back on track.
  7. Tekering refuses to accept a manufacturer actually got it right
  8. Two people in this thread said they reached out to sentinel directly and it was sounding positive. I think they didn't think the effort of dealing with another licensor was worth the possible additional sales.
  9. I haven't seen HLJ list a PF at a discount until they went on sale much later. Usually it's web + 10% to start.
  10. How big do you think the Legioss is? I used the stats and for 1/48 for the Sentinel... Though it was a little small in soldier.
  11. Black Aces is a company (perhaps named in homage). It would seem the heat from the licensing fall out at Calibre Wings triggered the finished products to be delivered instead by a separate company.
  12. Uh... Why would you brand it? By making it generic it appeals to a much larger spectrum, even beyond CW's Tomcats.
  13. The head looks crooked in that pic, I'm optimistic it's not an issue. At the least, we know it's not so severe the wheel is up.
  14. There's a picture of it sitting on the landing gear straight forward and it doesn't appear to be an issue.
  15. The CW Tomcat has a lot of die-cast to it so we know it can do many toys... that monster though... it'd look a little silly since it's so tall.
  16. Yikes, I hope that's the test shot color and not final! It goes from "it looks better if you paint the pilot figure" to "you kinda have to paint this figure." Looks like it comes with both guns though.
  17. Maybe Gloire is 1/2 earth gravity so people run taller.
  18. While not something you want to see, I wouldn't do anything about it and I wouldn't expect it to impair your toy at all. That's a SUPER common break anywhere a pin goes through plastic. If you have a Yamato VF-11, you'll probably find a bunch of those same cracks. Since it's a part that just folds, it probably won't get worse.
  19. They did already fix the super loose nosecone after the first release. There is room for hope! That's honestly why I haven't grabbed another Hikaru 1J... I'm hoping they'll keep make minor improvements and then I'll grab another Hikaru 1J when it gets reissued in a couple years....
  20. Glad you made it! That's a great blank canvas.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised to see minor tweaks on future releases like a lip on the leg pegs and a sliding lock for the arms. They can be done so easily and would be big improvements.
  22. You are implying more conversation with BW than I think it's likely. CW tried to get BW's attention when they started but either couldn't or were told 'no' because they weren't Japanese. Maybe BW ignored CW so CW poked the bear.
  23. If the prices were the same the Arcadia would be an obvious choice, it is better, it's just not WAY better while being WAY more expensive.
