Yeah, it felt more to me like a pivot than a tilt. Like the back of the cover pivots inward a little bit to create more space.

Nope, but they're not including the pilot figure and the toy does say Docket on it so it seems a logical conclusion.

The pandemic certainly didn't help and AE didn't do anything to help. NY had other shipping options... But they don't respond to tickets and sometimes don't even seem like they have your item to ship.

They haven't delivered super parts to people that ordered and paid more than a year ago. Their communication was never good and has gotten worse. Basically, last resort territory and don't use them at all if you care about getting the product any time soon after release.

As was pointed out, no Hikaru pilot figure because they'll make a VF-1S that says H. Ichijo on it down the road. Always gotta save that double-dip potential. Think of it as good news if you couldn't grab a Focker.

The story has a happy ending now that I'm in the office with the sun up high. Opened up the window and let sunlight into my toy sanctuary (insert vampire hiss here). Last night the toy was on my desk and I was trying to get a convincing pose with it holding the gun across its body. To do this, the corner of the left forearm poked into the intake area popping out the piece. I heard it fall out and hit the desk but paid it no mind and kept massaging the toy into the perfect position. Once it was done I slid the toy aside expecting a little black circle to be there and it wasn't. It's round... it could roll... I should have stopped immediately. Anyway, it had rolled off the edge of the desk and onto my keyboard. I have a gaming keyboard (even though I never game) with a bunch of keys off to one side I never use and it had wedged in between a couple. With the window open it was pretty obvious when I pulled the keyboard back out again this morning. I find that the cover on my right side has a decent enough grip but the one on my left side is always tenuous. I think that nail polish trick is probably very sound advice.

The white ones from the first wave of releases will fit on any ONE seat VF-1 toy (so does not work on VT-1, VE-1, or VF-1D). The gray ones from the second wave will fit on any VF-1, 1 or 2 seat.

As canonically wrong as it is, the simplest and most likely answer is that it's just a TV Roy wearing TV Super Parts with the TV Super Parts being the big announcement. I would love for a TV HIkaru 1S to be announced also but I'd be surprised if it happened. DYRL Max seems like a much better bet for "next DX".

I think the nice way to read that is that we've all tried to convince ourselves we didn't need a toy... and then found ourselves hunting it down, even at a premium, later. Man, I'm actually buying toys I used to own for more than I paid for them or sold them... so I'm like the worst example.

Well, HLJ has also failed to close POs in the past and had to email people later that they didn't actually secure a PO... so let's hope that doesn't happen again.

Remember when CDJapan would get like 100 of a new item and if you were ready, and someone gave you the link, you would see they were going down and in like 5 more minutes they'd be sold out? Those were the good ol' days.
