Yes, they are cancelling SSP orders saying they were unable to acquire them and giving store credit.

There have been a few slow sellers along the way. The worst offenders were probably Nexx's VF-2SS and the Focker VF-4G and it doesn't help that those were two of the more recent HMR releases. Of the VF-1 toys, the Messer toy hit bargain bins, the two-seaters never made it quite to steep discounts but they were available below MSRP for quite a while. The rest of the destroids did 'meh' as well.

NY is awful. I am avoiding having a conversation with them about my order. I hate the idea of getting store credit because I don't want to give them any more business.

If it's a 1/12 prototype of something that's ultimately going to be 1/48 scale, I think a lot of sins can be overlooked. In final form, at 1/48 scale, this thing will be TINY whereas it's currently monstrously large.

Wowsers... that's huge. Seems like a first effort fit/finish, probably not even put together totally prototype. The Southern Cross mecha should all go with more of a Sentinel approach... reinvent all the designs and just carry forward the theme of them... everything except the two mode goofy plane seemed to rely VERY heavily on mass shifting.

I think the legs a bit less articulated than the 1/3000 toy we got also... like they learned from the 1/2000 a little bit.

Nice to get a feel good story out if this year. Great project and live that ride.

It's disappointing and SO easily remedied. The arms can slide a bit, it would be crazy easy to add a notch. I haven't opened mine yet, did they add a lip to the pegs the leg armor attaches to? That's another super easy fix they need to consider.

Shelves are usually glass or wood right? Seems like they should be pretty inert. Maybe particle board shelves are a problem with glue outgassing... So maybe no repurposed Ikea bookshelves.

Swinging on summoned lightning hardly sounds like and everyday means of transportation... That's like saying if someone can run super fast, why would they get a car?

Imagine they're big beam weapons. The Mospeada Glaug only looks good from afar... If you look closely it's a bizarre Mish mash of borrowed parts. -

Some of the elements are not consistent in the line art though, particularly the wonky shoulders.

I don't know what the Sentinel release has done to secondary market prices but it was going for between $100 and $150 depending on condition beforehand. As to the dark Legioss, they could easily ditch many unique attributes of it as part of the "modern interpretation" theme. The head, intakes, and lack of a sensor array are the most defining features and early retained. That said, sentinel has been pretty good about the details so far.

I haven't heard from Okini regarding my Kaki shipping so it seems early to think NinNin is going to fail.
