HMR isn't really 1/100 so that's the likely culprit.

Shouldn't there be a show in a week or two? I thought there was a Tamashii event at the end of October... after all, that's when they first showed off the YF-21 prototype. I'm sure this year's 'show' would be virtual like the last show was.

Maybe all the people who love this Sentinel product are tainted by the experience of just about every other Legioss toy and Kuma hasn't been subjected to that so he's able to give a more unbiased opinion based on his experiences with other $250 toys. If you've handled the Evolution Toy, CM's, or Toynami lately, then you have a different definition of "trash quality" than he does. It says a lot when a toy has shoulders that are frozen in place and a pilot that falls apart easily is the BEST Legioss toy you can get. The bar wasn't very high. For my part, I have really high hopes. Almost all my issues with this toy are fit/finish related and could easily be rectified in a reissue to make it an amazing toy. No reissue was ever going to make the CM's or ET toys better than bad.

They're pretty bad... The Evoulution Toy Legioss isn't good but it's much better than the CMs.

For Arcadia, I think shows are cancelled until Spring so we'll probably need tweets from Mr.K to stay updated.

I think that was the instance that ensured it would never happen again. BW probably had two unhappy licensees after that... And one basically keeps the lights on at BW.

The detail under the cover is pretty weak... A half hearted effort at best. It probably has to be separate parts anyway and that level of unpainted detail probably didn't impact cost so maybe it's more of a "why not?" Than anything else.

This is kind of backward, the argument is generally that studios invest so heavily in tent poles now (before COVID) that it has slaughtered creativity. Given the backlog though, seems that there should be plenty of good movies in the queue.
