  1. Nice review Jenius. I can’t remember the last time I handled these. Sure I transformed each of them one or twice each and then they went into their cardboard coffins. The YF-29 is a beautiful bird. But with the super parts it just seems okay. Not fond of the gloves that goes over each wing. Bandai could have done a better job to reduce the additional weight and stress on the wings. Honestly, I don’t remember if mine had any floppy joints as I usually take measures to address such things. Need to pull these out again. Maybe one day...
  2. There definitely is more than plenty of room for a ball joint. Just need to be creative and source the right tools and joint to utilize.
  3. Woah! Nice. Are you updating your review on these DX?
  4. These are truly a beautiful pair. You could never display one without the other. It would be like hanging a frame with no picture. Awesome work!
  5. Excellent color match and great looking Valkyrie! Welcome to the club!
  6. You can always count on kicker to have them all. Nice!
  7. My response was very different from yours. Yesterday, NY said the packs are delayed this week and should be shipping in two weeks. I hope this happens.
  8. Very cool. Are you modeling these after the Hasegawa or Arcadia armour?
  9. Giving props back to your original posts. Don’t know how I missed this, but boy did I miss out. So glad to see you’re continuing with your custom. It somewhat reminds me of the original schemes planned for the 25th Anniversary 1/48. Keep going!
  10. I’m with 505thAirborne on this. Kicker773’s collection never fails to impress.
  11. Esta muy bien hecho ese custom! Siempre ma da tanta emoción y inspiración cuando miro ejemplos como este. Gracias por compartir tu obra de arte!
  12. Very nice. I picked up a few extra sets of Miria and Misa for this and other customs. We need more bridge bunnies and female commanders.
  13. Te quedó Súper! Pero que no le hace falta la raya sobre el pecho?
  14. You’ve done extremely well. That would be a crown jewel in anyone’s collection.
  15. You almost had me.
  16. Thanks. I used an extra Max body for Basará and a Minmei body for Mylene to make TV versions, similar to when they were being filmed for a special event.
  17. Agreed. Wish CMs made better stands.
  18. Unfortunately CMs never produced one. But you could always use an extra Roy and green paint to make one with helmet on. Not perfect but at least it completes the set.
  19. Love it! Show this to you’re wife. I’m sure she would appreciate it. Enough of our derail. Back to HMR. Apologies everyone.
  20. Right on! But we try to keep it tasteful and practical. These figures are here because they are in arms reach for my kids to play with. To each his own and more power to you! This not for everyone but we do enjoy it.
  21. I got nONE! Thanks. Once I get it, the kid’s fighting scenes will be more complex, like when Santa joins in with LEGO Star Wars and Minecraft figures to go up against various Macross mechs. It’s a pic from last Christmas.
  22. Well actually my screen name might not be what you think. Nightmareb4macross begins as Nightmare Before Christmas as I am quite a fan of Mr. Burton’s works. Then it ties into Macross. We have a “living collection” for lack of a better term. Items are brought out to display/play/admire from time to time depending on what we want to do with it. We don’t keep our items out for long periods of time. If the kids ask me to bring out, for example, Gi Joes rather than Macross we repack items they won’t be playing with and bring out the Joes. It’s a good system to keep interest going so we don’t get bored of seeing or playing with same things over and over. Plus it let’s the kids realize they can have whatever they want out as long as they are responsible and put away items in their respective place to care for the collection an have it last for a long time. The items you see on display were played with and staged there by my son. They’re all in storage now. During play they pit UNSPACY vs the Zents, as it should be, but UNSPACY was losing.
  23. Ha, ha, ha!! We all collect what we like!
  24. My son picked out both at separate occasions for different reasons. The skeleton came first as a Halloween decoration but he just wanted it indoors to keep in his egg chair. A year later he wanted a Robot Unicorn game party for his 4th birthday. So we purchased a few unicorn masks for his party. In the end we had nowhere to put the mask and my son ended up putting them together. Before the mask was on the skeleton it used to wear a rainbow colored and light up Mohawk (from a local circus) that now resides in the the metal pedal bomber plane with shark grin (seen in pic). Our family likes to collect various oddities. Sleep tight.
