  1. Mine is kind of yours in reverse.
  2. Look who I spotted in the 1987 Savie Toy Catalog. Tai Fong had this very same VF related toy at the same time in 1984.
  3. 1987 Savie Toys Catalog from an eBay listing I found years ago.
  4. Savie Toy Catalog from 1985 showing off their Hergoss line. Notice anything familiar? And there is a more familiar Hergoss version in other catalogs. 1987 catalog Courtesy of the AstroMagnum blogspot.
  5. Does anyone ever recall the VF-19Kai having any sort of loadout? Just curious as to why it has hard points. Maybe someone can post pics of the 19 fully loaded?
  6. I wish Bandai had used this body of the VF-19Kai for the YF-19. It could have looked so much better.
  7. Is it just me or does it seem like this step was either missed, or if the gunpod inadvertently unlocked itself from the boomerang position it’s supposed to be in when in fighter mode.
  8. This may be true but also inconsistent. Many “mint” items always seem to be “missing” original items from catalogs of the correct time, stickers, and instructions. It’s just a matter of time.
  9. I am very sure they do, but have yet to surface. it seems there are a few collectors who have stashes of Takatoku items in sealed cases. Last example known was from last year when a buyer/seller from AZ was selling case fresh exemplar items of Orguss in two scales amongst other gems. I mean mint, real mint, Ruth out of a master case kind of throng. While it seems we may not know the answer know, rest assured time will deliver on what we seek. Just not soon enough or fast enough. Really hoping AgentGHQ was around to chime in.
  10. I have put in some thought on where certain items were originally placed, but can honestly say it was never consistent. Many times even the contents provided were slightly varied. Even the sticker sheets would be packed in the Battroid tray folded in half, above the missiles, sometimes under the instruction sheet. Other times the sticker sheet is played flat and free roaming in the box. Or sometime folded in half and slight nudged into the longer crevice near the legs of in some instances in the strike/super pack tray und the bagged missile cluster clips with Minmei. It was all very different.
  11. It was a j-oke. 😅 Of course that’s why we supplement some of our needs through models and option parts. 😉
  12. It’s how they get you. As an adult, I kept buying these hoping that one day I would get the one on the box. Got bamboozled every time. 🤣
  13. https://fb.watch/CSbBQ7-p7S/?mibextid=wwXIfr Total Dunbine Vibes!!
  14. Crypt Keeper here to say, “if you can obtain an item related to an old thread. Post it!” Necromancy at its finest.
  15. I’ll dig out my sets later and take a pic of all the Takatoku sticker placement maps.
  16. Little brother it so nice to see you. First pic was not part of the group as I found it in another box after putting away the group. 🫠
  17. Wow looks like Robotech fans when you say Macross. Happy Halloween!!🎃
  18. Checking out a few different looks.
  19. So the Super Ostrich Booster nozzles are actually orange. These were spray painted charcoal grey.
  20. Just some random attack poses. I especially like Britai’s sassy attack pose. You go Zeny!! 😂
  21. We can begin here and work our way thru all the variants.
  22. That’s what it is. I totally forgot they were thin and for that purpose. I was thinking these were for the back of the arms for some reason, but those are on the main sheet. Boy is my face red. Thank you.
  23. Where are these supposed to be applied? The arm stickers are already on the main VF-1J sticker sheet. Does anyone know where this set below comes from? Why would there be no UNSPACY kites on the Hikaru 1J sticker sheet? A pit should be mandatory as they are placed on either side of the cockpit. Kites do appear on the Roy sticker sheet. For the same cockpit application, as seen in the sheet above.
