  1. Wow. You sir are a kit building machine.
  2. Thanks. But the 1/55 really lends itself to all this.
  3. You guys really know how to make a kit really stand out. Excellent talent. Working on the gun details. And yes, definitely keeping the firing mechanism. Pew, pew, pew.
  4. This build seems to never end. But the arms are good. Now onto more detailing and control panels.
  5. I was today years old when I finally realized the cover of the Macross Design Works is an actual 1/55. 🤯
  6. That’s an interesting interpretation of the white base coat. I was thinking of going with white from 70’s style fighters. It’s somewhat matte sheen and gets glossier along the surface areas that have the most friction during flight. Thanks for the suggestion.
  7. Looks good, and really liking the new sculpture of the 1J head. The 1S could use a bit more height and resembles this mash up way too much. Top half Takatoku and bottom half 1990 Bandai. It can’t be unseen. Since these are prototypes, I am sure it can be corrected.
  8. That is some clean and sexy mole technique. I am still contemplating my paint process for my project and always look for insight when possible. Thank you and keep building more awesome kits.
  9. You are doing a phenomenal job with all these vintage kits. What kind and brand of paint are you using? Looks amazing!!
  10. Well, well, well.
  11. It was just a plug and play accessory. Honestly, I don’t recall reshaping the peg for it to fit.
  12. Looks like an original resprayed with primer. Chest has the red stripe underneath. Also the heatshield is the very same used on reissues. Come on Tony, tell us.
  13. Looks like the 1/55 is making another comeback.
  14. That is a neat little tidbit. The things kids would do to acquire mai-always.
  15. Would have been cool to get these as a kid and place them into a shirt or jacket.
  16. Battroid comparison We can only dream. Maybe one day a toy manufacturer will run with this idea and give us a 1/55 Version 2. For now this is enough for me.
  17. Can you spot the differences?
  18. Nice work. Sometimes it’s the little upgrades that make a huge difference. I use an extra set of DYRL hands from a 1/60 V2 for my Yamato VF-1A Hikaru.
  19. Looking good! Which colors have you selected for the body and accents?
  20. SHOULDERS Tucked. Old School. Extended Range.
  21. Checking the new amount of range.
  22. Humbly chipping away at this custom 1/55. Telescoping shoulders for a tighter fighter.
