  1. Tell me about it. I was just surprised this listing even existed. I paid almost nothing for these poster. Maybe the artist is an industry professional, not sure.
  2. Not quite. The VF-1C was an intended VF.
  3. That’s the VF-1C. Nice. The kit is labeled as the VF-1D. The version of that head makes an appearance in Macross Design Works and possibly in SDF-M in grey. The 15th anniversary VF figures also had this unique head found on the Super VF-1D GERWALK, but not in the Battroid. 🧐 https://anymoon.com/blog/?p=5625 Very cool.
  4. Absolutely stunning! Is the head the standard VF-1D type or is it the VF-1C? It’s hard to tell. Can’t wait to see your next projects. 😍
  5. This might help a bit more. Litardi - Takatoku - Litardi.
  6. Thank you. No matter how refined we get, we always learn something new.
  7. That build is looking great! I never new the glue could be removed from old decals. Always figured they would be ruined once you water to them. Thanks for the great tip! Did you apply Decal Setter? Or another adhesive to make the decals stick? Great Build.
  8. The mostly white missiles only exist in DYRL. The red accent missiles are for SDFM. The color coincide with the bombs.
  9. Neither did I. It was mostly present in the the Imai kits. This could have done inadvertently. Hopefully @Mr March could chime in and provide more light. I will add, Mr. March does extensive readers h to provide these profiles.
  10. There is always good reference on Macross Mecha Manual. This is for TV versions.
  11. I just came across this listing on eBay? Not mine, but interesting enough. Who is John Gaydos!
  12. you’re on the right track. 😜
  13. A humongous shout out to Greg, a very special friend and collector. Thank you!
  14. All these Takatoku (Made in Taiwan) have several distinct features. When hunting VFs you can spot they are different by just looking at the nose section. See if you can spot this and other unique features. Sorry these are in channel lock bags. But you can still find clues. Have fun.
  15. For as many combinations with Super/Strike armors and Green Joons applications, the Bandai reissue armors are the only set to fit. Arms from one Joons to another are not always the same length or shaped. Same for the backpack on the VF.
  16. A finished 1/48 Yamato TEST VF-X custom with accessories.
  17. I would still like to see this feature on the VF-19P.
  18. To be honest with you, the process was a bit daunting and painful as all the cuts are done with a dull exacto to keep control over contours and minimize any over cuts.
  19. One day it shall be done. I even added engines to the legs and sliders to the hands so they can expand and compound into the forearms with ease, amongst other modifications. Upgrade hands from an old Gundam kit.
  20. Just some imaginary nonsensical inspiration. 😜
  21. A custom I made many moons ago. it still transforms.
  22. I think you might be right about that.😆
  23. Just a few pics for comparison. Please note: VF in the forefront has been slightly modified. 🤭
  24. I wonder if Bandai will revisit the YF-19 and VF-19 Isamu sculpts using the new Kai as a base. Honestly, the previous 19s could use some bulking and would benefit greatly from this improvement. Anyone have skills to repaint the Kai and do a head, shoulder, and intake swap? Would be cool to see the changes.
