  1. I'm ok with the size. More or less same as the Toynami ones, which once you add a TREAD is pretty effing hard to fit in a display case joined in fighter mode! Seeing the engineering that went into this thing, I now get the price tag, maybe someday down the road I can pick one up!
  2. Gorgeous! I always wanted to do a dark grey low vis one of those! Something like the Low Vis Roy 1:60 V2 Yamato. Some wicked cool paint schemes out there for the VF-4's!
  3. See....that's kinda why I went that route, laziness wins the day on the paint job as I spent a whole lot of time on the lighting. I really didn't wanna cut hundereds of little "L" shaped pieces of Tamiya tape. I argue that what was seen on screen wasn't ever what the actual filming model really looked like because of the 70's lighting conditions in the studio.
  4. It DOES look amazing, I gotta say! Everything I could want in a Legioss really. Bike and mini fig need paint though! That would erk me on a $250 toy, but whatever. Happy for those who landed one! Will be eagerly awaiting @jenius's review!
  5. Speaking of Star Wars.... Today I decided to try my hand at the "mottled" method of painting for the Star Destroyer... It's hard work, but I think I like it! I'm really glad this thing isn't any bigger now! First round done! Rain is here so humidity has shut me down for today.
  6. That's a beautiful model sir! Great job!
  7. See....I was allll set to pull the trigger on NewAge's Megatron as it looks great and is basically a scaled down MP-36 looks like....then I saw THIS up for pre-order yesterday. Decisions, decisions! https://tfsource.com/magic-square/msb36-ragnar-doomsday/
  8. Yes. Locked in a closet of my dreams....along with that Sulaco...LOL.
  9. DAMN! this thing looks GOOD! Wish I had the funds to play.
  10. DAMN! I want it, but I don't know if I want it $80 plus shipping bad...
  11. Damn. R.I.P. sir! Thanks for the memories!
  12. Great job on the droids @wm cheng!!!
  13. Seriously! They are great! I want Skywarp and the purple one now too!
  14. LOVE IT! Some say the Bandai Chunky Monkey's are the best 80's toy, I'd put these right there with them! I kept my blue one, he's hanging out with his Mospeada friends in a display case. I have my green one but his arm sheered off many many moons ago and I can't figure out a fix. I didn't keep my TFer's Jetfire some years back. Just sayin.
  15. Nice panel lining job @anubis20!
  16. Amazing resin kits there @ChristopherB! Great job!
  17. Good lord guys, obviously prototypes shown. My goodness, we FINALLY get a line of high quality character figures from a company with a pretty good track record so far and all some can do is pooh-pooh them from the get go. Was the Rickaru good? Yes. Enough said. I know this is MW, where everything has to scrutinized to the Nth Degree BEFORE it's even made, but come on, let's give them the benefit of the doubt until they give us a reason not too!
  18. WOW! I'm sold! When's the pre-order??!!
  19. Don't we all! Along with the woodland camo too!
  20. .....OR.....you can take my route @wm cheng, cheap bag of wooden skewers from the grocery store, cheap bag of alligator clips from the hardware store and cheap blocks of styrofoam from Hobby Lobby.

    Macross figures

    Where's the pre-order button???!!!
  23. Cyclonus was and still is a fantastic jet and robot design that no-one at least to my knowledge has done justice to yet. I REALLY wish NewAge would give him a go!
