  1. Ya really gotta admit, even though the videos are mostly all sped up, whoever the actual stunt pilots were for Airwolf AND the camera follow bird pilots really had some pretty BIG balls for some of those flying scenes! That modified Bell 222 still looks TOTALLY wicked to this day!
  2. Only problem I ever had on a rainbow canopy release was on my Virgin Road and it was messed up from the factory. All others I have from that era are perfectly fine to this day.
  3. OMG -- that looks....absolutely...terrible! Added to Watchlist for this weekend!
  4. Weeeelll....since I'm off Friday anyways, why the f@ck not wake up in the middle of the night and join in this freakin sure to be bloodbath tomorrow night....2AM in central time zone???

    Hi-Metal R

@Slave IV I wanna know what's going in the background with those two VF-1's doing a booty bump.....
  6. Impressive!
  7. @sqidd You should really look into the old Yamato 1:60 HDP kit. IMHO the best representation of the Regult. It won't be cheap IF you can even find one, and it has to assembled and painted by a pro to look good! EDIT: Although now, looking back at the pics of it, the HM-R's really did nail the proportions of the center eye better, STILL would love to have one though!
  8. @DradYes! The original Japanese Mospeada show is on with English subs, The Robotech "Original Broadcast Version" is there (Macross, Southern Cross, and New Gen) as well as the "Remastered Versions", which do I like the video transfer of way better, but as you said, the redone sound effects are horrible!
  9. It still is on Prime! I watched it all the way through a year or so back. I grew up with the RT version and it was my favorite of the three RT chapters back then. I still do like the music that wasn't included in the Macross parts, mainly the Invid themes. There are a couple of cool electronic synth pieces that I really dig in the RT version. It really is VERY close story wise as I remember. Almost just replace the word "Protoculture" with "HBT" and the story is more or less the same IIRC. I guess since I grew up with the bike sounds, that really never bothered me!
  10. LMAO! That's great. Never seen that before. Good start to my Sunday morning!
  11. Can someone point me in the best direction to order a sheet of 3rd party Decepticon stickers of varying sizes? I need them for my Newage Seekers! I've looked on Evilbay and can only seem to find them in deepest darkest China, and I'm not going there. Once bitten twice shy...
  12. I don't like it....I LOVE it! Great job!
  13. THAT just might be the coolest thing I've ever seen. FACT. As I'm building the model now, I can't even begin to fathom the hours of work that went into that! And ...like... how..???? LOVE to see a video record of that build!
  14. My thoughts exactly, can't believe that isn't driving @tekering's OCD crazy, it would be mine on a toy that $$$.
  15. Good luck to all who go for this one! You're gonna need it.
  16. Looks cool @wm cheng! I'd watch it if I had Apple TV.
  17. Dear GOD.....PLEASE video this to Youtube and link it here when you have that range day!
  18. OHH HELL YES!!! Great news!
  19. LOL! @Shizuka the Cat! That's a great comparison! Vanessa was always my favorite BB as well! I go for the nerdy girl with glasses! (I married one!) As for my character, as I'm a manager/director and have to be in charge and in control of situations, I'm gonna go with the good ole Capt. Global!
  20. I'm ok with the size. More or less same as the Toynami ones, which once you add a TREAD is pretty effing hard to fit in a display case joined in fighter mode! Seeing the engineering that went into this thing, I now get the price tag, maybe someday down the road I can pick one up!
  21. Gorgeous! I always wanted to do a dark grey low vis one of those! Something like the Low Vis Roy 1:60 V2 Yamato. Some wicked cool paint schemes out there for the VF-4's!
  22. See....that's kinda why I went that route, laziness wins the day on the paint job as I spent a whole lot of time on the lighting. I really didn't wanna cut hundereds of little "L" shaped pieces of Tamiya tape. I argue that what was seen on screen wasn't ever what the actual filming model really looked like because of the 70's lighting conditions in the studio.
