    This mornings progress! All LED strips coated with clear frost, full LED light test on the stand and custom holder pylon for the Blockade Runner and teeeny weeeny Falcon made and installed into the base... In the words of the great Morpheous... "He's beginning to believe..."

    @peter Welcome to the horrible world of Star Trek kits! Putty and sand, putty and sand, putty and sand, and THEN putty and sand some more. I've heard VERY good things on the new Discoprise kit, apparently it was designed to actually be fun to put together and look great at the same time! What a concept right?! @Dobber Yeh man, I only allow myself one little can of Dr. Pepper on Saturday and one on Sunday, the rest of the week I don't drink any soft drinks or caffeine. Top Gear is probably my favorite show of all time, and I almost always have it or The Grand Tour on when modeling, it's just comforting for some reason.

    @Convectuoso - I went back and forth on that in my head like 1000 times while I was waiting on the stickers to arrive. Honestly, there's no "right" way I don't think. G1 line art shows mostly the way I did it, the original G1 toys were flipped, (which is what I grew up with), and then the MP-11 Molds look like that just decided to do a little bit of both! So hey, whatever floats your Cheerios! LOL!

    I gave the Alaska Base a go years back with an $80 dollar-ish shelf warmer TV Kaki Yamato 1:60v2. It was a quick job, I've never tried transforming it, It would wreck the paint, but whatever, looks great in robot mode! Sorry for the OT pics, but I wanted to play.

    Amazon Prime Video wants me to pay about $60 for 2202..not gonna happen. Funimation's website you can watch for free with about 1000 commercials. uhgg. I just watched the 1st episode. Andromeda was cool!

    @sqidd - The TomyTec kits were amazing! I have all the fighter modes they ever made. VF-1's Vf-31's and SV-262. Crying shame they didn't continue the line and finish at least the Delta squadron. They are incredibly well detailed and easy to assemble. They are TINY though. You'll need some magnifying glasses to do it if your eyes aren't perfect, a good pair of sharp nippers and that's about it.

    This pic does nothing except remind me quite vividly why I really don't care terribly much if I have the more than one Bandai DX in my collection... Yamato got sooooo many things right ohh so many years ago!

    GREAT updates guys! @peter - dude, you are not an amateur by any means! I've still got my Bandai 1:500 Yamato sitting in the box in the closet looking at me every time I go in there like -- "bruh -- you gonna build me soon or what???" @Dobber - Can't wait to see the DiscoPrise all done up! Great job with the pencil panels!
