I disagree with the 1:48 Valk. Unless your a die hard fan of the sheer size, there's nothing the 1/60 ver.2 doesn't do better IMHO. I had the Focker 1:48 and got rid of it years ago. The flaps are annoying and fall off, and the proportions are wacky in battroid.

Got my Bandai 1/100 Gundam figures in the mail. Gonna paint them tomorrow hopefully. They scale very well with The Monster. Will post pics after painting.

Thanks Spanner! I learned long ago I can't build car models..so I let AutoArt and Hot Wheels Elite do my building for me..at a price!

Redid the base with real tree bark and used real ground clutter as well. Calling this one done minus getting the trooper on the bike!... edit.. got him on!

Damn. That sucks. Rest in peace sir. Thanks for the memories. Beep boop. -
Didn't know where else to post this but I came across these 3 awesome things on Amazon Prime TV earlier today! First time I've seen Macross officially streamed, not to mention Mospeada and Southern Cross Calvary whatever it's called. Interestingly enough Robotech is on here as well.. both original broadcast version and remastered. Not sure.. maybe HG is loosening the reigns a bit???

I think I recall some of the Dominion war DS-9 episodes were the most expensive Star Trek episodes ever filmed. DS-9 is a slow burn, but it is very good, after Worf gets in the mix and the Dominion war ramps up.

Installed my first set of Ikea LED lights in my Detolf today after work. Pain in the rear getting all the cables neat, but I'm pretty happy with the result for 30 bucks. Took me about 2 hours. Sorry for the sideways pics.

I started in when it was originally broadcast, but just kinda gave up or lost track or whatever. I'm rewatching Voyager, TOS and DS-9 right now. Maybe I'll start Enterprise as well. Been on a Star Trek kick lately.

Looks great! My a** is in a seat! -
I felt that Next Gen always did a fair job of spreading out the stories for people. Yes, Picard got more, but there were some very good Data, Worf episodes as well. Riker/LaForge had a few, Troy episodes..snore..Dr. Crusher episodes I always liked as well. Wesley Crusher..well..let's just move on.

I've got a set of twelve 1/100 Bandai Gundam unpainted people coming in the mail -- I'll post pics when I get them and then again after I paint them. Hopefully they scale well with the Monster!

Bandai Macross Δ Mecha Collection Small Scale Plastic Model Kits
derex3592 replied to IXTL's topic in Model kits
that is sheer talent right there folks...all i accomplished when trying to mask clear plastic with stuff and then cut it is scratched clear plastic. If at all possible I always try to pay for pre-cut aftermarket vinyl masks - which is what I did on my 1:144 Falcon and they were worth every penny! -
