Hopefully getting mine today. Really hoping Bandai makes the joints TIGHT on this thing. My only complaint with the Regults and the Glaug are I feel like they are looser than they should be.

+1. After slaving over the horrible 1:200 80's model kit of the Monster, I think I deserve a BIGGER one I can actually play with along with the Regults/Glaug/Cannon Fodder Valk! SO yeh..it hurts, but not as much as an Arcadia Valk, so let's just rejoice that we got one and I say bring on the rest of the Destriods now!!!

I highly doubt that this will get a renewal version. I think (hope) Bandai has learned the lessons from the 25's, 27's, 29's, and 31 to make these pretty solid. People are not going to be as forgiving at these price points!

I must applaud your effort here sir, as you say this is your first time doing a full resin kit...I learned a lot over the last 4 or so years of doing some. I started out with a one piece very small Zentradi Scout Ship and worked my way up slowly from there..The Cat's Eye is the one remaining resin kit I have left in my to build pile..your build is making me want to start it sometime soon!

So it's $212 plus whatever EMS shipping turns out to be from HLJ, so I'm thinking let's just call it $250ish. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. We shall see I guess! But DAMN! How cool is this thing gonna be??!!!

Man!! You guys are way harsh!!! Can you imagine what the first trailers for ST TNG looked like??? Come on! Have a little faith! It's gonna be something new to watch anyway! although that being said--they can bite me if they think I'm going to pay for their CBS service to watch this...

The chest and upper body just looks....off and very unproportional to the rest of it somehow. Loving the little Ride Armors though!

I actually find it REALLY amazing that they are starting out with the biggest and most expensive Destroid! I can only imagine the marketing meeting where that was discussed! "You wanna start out with the WHAT?!" Bravo marketing guy who pulled it off, bravo. I'll be all in for all the other's as well! The Bandai HM-R love is strong with this one! I've lost track...how much is this thing gonna hurt me when it ships to the US?? ..or maybe I don't wanna know....

I would expect the pre-order hype for these to be right up there with Frontier. I'm not gonna bother frankly, I'll pick one or maybe two up at actual release time or shortly thereafter hopefully.
