O.M.F.G!!! Bandai knocked it out the freakin park with this!!! It's just plain AWESOME!!! And it ain't small!! Best HM-R release so far in my opinion. Just perfect. Tight joints, perfect tampo, perfect paint apps. Bravo Bandai. Bravo! Almost want to buy another one to weather and make look battle worn! .. or just to have two!!

I gotta be honest, I've never built a Hasagawa kit, I've got the old 1:72 YF-19 and YF-21 in my build pile, but honestly I kinda have gotten addicted to the easyness of the Bandai snap together stuff, with just a little paint and panel line effort, their kits look pretty darn good for the price.

You know...as a somewhat competent model guy...I almost wanna try the 1/72 kits..I mean.. they DO look good! I mostly want them for fighter mode anyway and I do love Bandai's Star Wars kits. NO preorder madness--NO price hikes, NO waiting forever for the DX releases, and I could get basically all 5 for $250ish..hmmmm.

Hopefully getting mine today. Really hoping Bandai makes the joints TIGHT on this thing. My only complaint with the Regults and the Glaug are I feel like they are looser than they should be.

+1. After slaving over the horrible 1:200 80's model kit of the Monster, I think I deserve a BIGGER one I can actually play with along with the Regults/Glaug/Cannon Fodder Valk! SO yeh..it hurts, but not as much as an Arcadia Valk, so let's just rejoice that we got one and I say bring on the rest of the Destriods now!!!

I highly doubt that this will get a renewal version. I think (hope) Bandai has learned the lessons from the 25's, 27's, 29's, and 31 to make these pretty solid. People are not going to be as forgiving at these price points!
