    Frankly, I've always hated the color Yamato chose for ALL the Super/Strike and GPB armor. So hey, if Bandai wants to go super light grey--more power to them. If I had nothing but money and time I would re-buy and re-paint all the Yamato 1:60 Super Parts and GPB armor a Neutral Grey.

    I'll just leave this here..some people might find it useful moving forward. I myself have been pleasantly surprised by Delta thus far. Just binged watched 1-12 this week and am now all caught up. No, it's not what we all wanted, a dark war drama, but it has it's charms, and we kinda knew what we were getting going in. I really cant stand Freyja, but everyone else is pretty likable and for the most part the story is what I call "just kinda go with it and enjoy it for what is"..it IS Macross after all, with all the weird music power mythical stuff. Most of us are all just here for the valk/mecha porn anyways!

    Ok, thanks. I'm just trying to prime and sand down the bigger parts of the Ghost X9 to get ready to paint this weekend. Trying to go for a super smooth finish for the glossy red paint!

    So I paid out the ass at the Hobby Shop today for a can on Mr. Surfacer 1000 as they were out of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer in white, I've never tried it, so I thought why not...But at $15 for a can, I don't know...can anyone tell me what's supposed to be so great about this stuff and the proper way to use it? I also bought some white Tamiya liquid surface primer to try and airbrush it, we'll see how that goes. Edit -- This hobby is getting to damn expensive. Fact.

    I decided to start watching this series this morning as I was on my treadmill, aside from the couple of ridiculous potty humor jokes that just made me cringe, overall I liked the feel of it. Only one episode in, but I like the nods to anime and Macross that are sprinkled in. I'm gonna give the rest of the season a chance! I was a HUGE Voltron fan as a kid, so I kinda feel like I have to!

    Ha! True story! Mine is one you have to flip...and with my Star Wars discs, they were the CAV discs, so every 25 minutes or so, flip and then change! 2 hour movie, lots of getting up off the couch!

    I actually still have a functional Pioneer Laserdisc player, I hooked it back up a few years ago to try to watch my unedited Star Wars Definitive Collection discs, but man, on a 65" plasma 1080p set, they just don't hold up like they did back on a 32" tube..LOL!

    A little outdoor/ garage bench work early this morning before it gets to 105 degrees today... Ghost X9 primering and gloss coating F Toys AT-ATs and Imperial Shuttle.

    I hand brush my panel line washes as well. However I prefer the ProModellers Dark Dirt or Grime. It's clay based so easy clean up with water even after days of it just sitting there, provided of course you gloss coat the model first.

    Yeah! Come on Arcadia! Bandai already did all the hard work! Just take the HMR Regult and scale that bitch up to 1:60 and add lights, a figure and real firing canons and I'll pay anything up to $149.99 for it! (sarcasm)
