A Klingsbo will definitely work. I have a Toynami Alpha/Beta combo on a shelf of my Kllingsbo and it ain't exactly small, but it fits....barely.

Took a brave pill over the weekend and masked off and painted all the light grey parts for the Scout. Only the blue part on the head remains!...then the fun of assembly actually begins. more to come!

Same thing happened with my Alto 171 on the first transformation. Not a huge deal, just annoying.

I didn't get one when they first released sadly, but I did get one a little further down the road, still paid almost 3 times original price, but I felt it was worth it, as everything else I got at list price. It's what I feel was the peak of the Yamato VF-1s along with the Elint and grey Roy, and dark blue Cavelier. The tampo on it is really cool.

Damn, i REALLY wanted to get Shockwave, as i had the G1 one version as a kid and he was one of my absolute favs! That sound was just earpiercing!!! buuuut that lavender color, stickers and no sound ...yeeeeah...I'm gonna have to pass. . Maybe the Hasbro version will be darker if they do one. -

THIS is exactly why I don't mind paying Bandai and Arcadia pricing for 1:60 and High Metal R collectibles. I can't even imagine having to mask and paint most of the crazy Macross paint schemes on any planes after Plus. -

Thanks guys! I don't know if it's just cause im gettin older or maybe the new generation of Star Wars Bandai kits is spoiling me, but I just can't get motivated to do these old Macross kits, they are sooo much work and so hard to mask in this guy's case. But I do want a Scout Regult.. *siiigh*.. onwards..
