This kit is right up there with bad dental visits on my list of fun things...I'm never doing another old Macross kit, especially a Regult. I'll gladly pay Bandai $55 for a HM-R version should they do one. Does that make me a bad guy?..whatever! So be it!

Just did the math...kinda ouch...$74.50 shipped from HLJ. Hope it's worth it....oh well. Hopefully it shows support for a bigger, better, badder Arcadia or Bandai TV SDF-1 to be made.

I gave up on my Yamato missiles staying on and just superglued them all on! Not like I was ever gonna remove them anyway. Makes handling the thing actually fun.

The rainbow canopies were a very cool thing...until you got one out the box that was messed up and had to remove the rainbow coating..(VF-1D Virgin Road for me)

A Klingsbo will definitely work. I have a Toynami Alpha/Beta combo on a shelf of my Kllingsbo and it ain't exactly small, but it fits....barely.

Took a brave pill over the weekend and masked off and painted all the light grey parts for the Scout. Only the blue part on the head remains!...then the fun of assembly actually begins. more to come!

Same thing happened with my Alto 171 on the first transformation. Not a huge deal, just annoying.
