  1. @nightmareB4macross The engineering and thought behind that is phenominal! Love that you captured that 'toed-out' stance that is iconic for the Gerwalk.
  2. I had zero interest in watching this, and now that has somehow become minus. I will gladly let this reside in your braincase, living rent free as I whistle upon my merry way - way way from this! A salute your sacrifice! ...I do wonder how the Empire survives at all with so much back-stabbing and outright murder. If no one blinks at someone killing their entire family for power, then they are all basically psychopaths, which means there should be nothing stable enough for their entire society to stand on. Rulers gain (and sustain) power through power blocs, which seems to a certain extent you can trust that the Emperor will not betray you, because enough people will be around after to pull the old 'Julius Caeser pin-cushion' on them. This however, describes an Empire in a state of continual flux, paranoia and madness that, again, is unsustainable. Even the most ruthless of dictatorships can't survive without reaching its own level of stability. Yet all we have seen of the Terran Empire, is one that cannot sustain itself for as long as it susposed to have had.
  3. SWEET!!!!! Finally! I was hoping the Flash version would survive, as I did like Sasha Calle's take on her, but this is looking even better! From the back too!
  4. I didn't have any interest in this anyway, so 'oh well...' The whole 'Section 31' thing has been iffy ever since its incemption on Enterprise, and every iteration since just seems to double-down on Bad. Why they think spinning it out over and over again will somehow punch through to an audience that doesn't really care about it is the real plot here. Michelle Yeoh is great, and I would hope that she would stop wasting her time on this. Her character was best as Georgio and they should get her back on that. They want another Star Trek show, then bring back Captain Georgio, either in her origal role with some sci-fi hand-wavium to explain her resurrection, or in tha actual TOS timeline. Although, they would then have to explain away her being a starship captain, when in canon they aren't any women in that role, but it can be done. She, and SNW, is only good thing to come out of STD! ..edit - and Dadmiral!
  5. Don't stop because of one person's sh!t opinion. There are far more people on this board who appreciate your work, so listen to them and ignore the haters. You do good work Peng, and the other guys were just doing some friendly banter. Keep it up, I realy like seeing what you create. Thom
  6. Fortuitous find @pengbuzz! Exedore is looking Excellent! And who knew Frodo was so ripped!? @Cheese3 Real good look battroid!
  7. Star Wars A New Hope was basically a 'cut-and-paste story' from Akira Kurosawa, a Western and others shows, so I don't understand how this is a criticism. You can take several examples of movies from the same genre (and even beyond) and find similar plot points used to help drive the story all over the place. Everyone does it. This is not a valid criticism. Bad acting, bad direction, a story without any nuance or risks, sure those are. A show that is boring that puts the viewer to sleep? Sure. A scene with guy doing a useless spin in the middle of a blaster fight (you know what I mean?) oh hell yeah! But plots points? No.
  8. Cool progress on those birds, @derex3592 @nightmareB4macross Never gets old!
  9. It wasn't bad. Was it perfect? No. And yes, it felt rushed and got a little chopped at the end, but it was not a bad ending. As for Solo-rippoffs, there are any number of movies with the conman-trope.
  10. Great work there @nightmareB4macross!
  11. Dang, sorry to hear that, Peng. Hagf in there and hope you get better real quick!
  12. Had to hunt for it, but here is the Decals Library,
  13. I'm back! Ugh! But it was good. I was in it right until then, the intensity was there, as well as the feel goods. Whether I liked the very last moments or not, I shall be looking forward to Season 3. Please, Apple, give us a Season 3....
  14. Watching Silo, in fact I'm going to kick out now and watch the finale! Thanks for the reminder!
  15. As to the ending, I'm happy with it.
  16. It's in the title, man. 'Skeleton Crew Died, Star Wars killed it.' If the guy has a broad view and is not pushing one toxic mind-set, then you don't name it that. He himself is pushing a 'prejudgment' right from the start. Here's a good example of something I might watch, 'Skeleton Crew, Let's Discuss the Good and the Bad.' That shows me that the reviewer isn't a one-sided troll, bent on angst for click-baiting. What he did use, makes me not want to waste a second of my life on his teeny, tiny opinion.
  17. I've gotten into watching this my past few weekends, and I'm really liking it. Yes, it's a kid show, but the subplots under the kid-friendly romps and witty repartee are pretty good. There is a darkness growing, people die, good people make bad decisions and tell themselves they are doing bad things for the greater good - which always works! The episodes are about 30min long so it's quick to get through a season. I just finished Season 3 and am looking forward to 4.
  18. Same here! Don't need someone else's rants in any way. For me, it was a good ending to a good show. Not great, but fun and entertaining, which is the best of the two out of three. The third being making sense, so maybe 2 1/5 out of 3. Overall, very good show. Some niggles, but hardly enough to burn the show to the ground. I do wish it was a bit longer. I felt there was a lot happening, which makes time feel faster, so I wish they had stretched it out a bit more. If I was to rate this, I would give it a B+.
  19. I've gotten into watching a few Nerdforge vids on Youtube and would just like to share. In case anyone has not seen her yet, this is Martina from Norway who makes a great number of incredible builds on her channel. From creating a prosthetic to replace her missing pinky to rebinding legendary books, like the Stormlight series and the Hobbit, she is super entertaining and interesting, esp with her ideas. The first one I watched was her rebinding the entire Stormlight Archive series for Brandon Sanderson. And she and Hansi have been on Tested with Adam Savage. Just cool interviews and I just love they way they geek out together!
