  1. Past hour
  2. Aw man, Bernard owned that role as King Theoden. I'm trying to convince my daughter to watch LOTR still.
  3. Today
  4. It makes me wonder, with his being a user and all, if he knew things that would allow him to survive where programs would not on the grid?
  5. Wonder if they forgot about the grey visor for the GBP? And the legs don't look as "thicc"...
  6. Neither 😜 Sorry, stock photo since I haven’t had the chance to open mine yet.
  7. Metal Siren is always top of my wish list. HMR, DX, ideally both. VF-22 repaints, as well.
  8. I'm hoping for VF-19S, D and P reissues myself. Kicking myself for not getting the P, especially but would want a full Emerald Force (2 x D and 1 x S on display), too I never got a Yamato/Arcadia SDF release since I've wanted a TV version and price usually scared me off...
  9. Photos from Anime-Pro Festival 2024.
  10. As usual I am super late to the party, currently I'm halfway through Season 3 of FOR ALL MANKIND, so far, it's a very good show, good acting, great FX. I'm ready for season 4 & then eventually 5.
  11. Mushoku Tensei was great again. I am glad Rudy is learning from his previous life.
  12. T-bar broke on my Yamato YF-21 so will probably never transform it again from fighter. Gamlin VF-22 seemed ok last time I transformed a couple years ago. Liking the exrra tampo printing so probably getting this. Hope they'll do the Max VF-22.
  13. Loving the YF-21 so far, solid kit and fun build. Longtime pet peeve of mine is that no one seems to proportion the battroid mode to the lineart, torso and leg placement is always more in line with human proportions than the leggy and alien Queadlunn Rau/Rea look. Gn-u Dou is close but legs are still too low and I don't love the bulky torso block behind the fighter nose. Bandai also went with the bulky torso block, as well as lengthening the torso, I guess to make it look cooler (I noticed the YF-19 also lost its stubby torso from the lineart). Thankfully the rest of the proportions are impressively close (minus the backpack, but I guess that was unavoidable) so it looks like some very small modifications/replacement parts should bring it in line. Here are my preliminary attempts. I'm also going to try raising the backpack up, can't do anything about the size but more accurate placement should help the silhouette.
  14. Does it match the DX DYRL Kakizaki green? I'd love to find a 1J head and give it a green stripe for a custom swap at some point.
  15. These models play a critical role in filling out the Macross universe that existed in the 80's. Of course the toys anchor the whole franchise, but the models were really the imaginative element that made the cartoon "real" for me as a kid. Dark, foreboding, filled with danger and risk. The box art somehow brought to life the darker elements of the franchise far more than the toys did. Although they were fun, the toys were more just play things in line with the cartoons. The models were reality smacking you in the face. In that sense, I think they are critical representations of Macross during that time period. Definitely worth collecting for that reason.
  16. I've been scouring the internet for the instructions for you; aside from ones that you can buy on eBay, I found a pic of some of them on worthpoint: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/robotech-defenders-zoltek-model-22173203 I also found a video of the same model kit with a few shots of the instructions @6:39 - 7:15 in the video: I checked scalemates and other sites, but nothing really. I recall "Zoltek" was actually the Dougram suit from Fang of the Sun Dougram. Sorry, that's the best I can do.
  17. Battroid Mode height is about 31cm ± [without measured the head laser] and In Fighter Mode length is about 38.6cm ± . here the comparison with arcadia SV-51
