    You know, it's kinda weird, but I loved Bruticus, and when Streetwise, First Aid, and Groove came out I thought they were all better than even the Combaticons. But I wasn't a fan of the fact that I had to go back and consult the instructions on Hot Spot; he just wasn't intuitive enough to go on memory alone, and Blades was kinda weak. So by the time I was finished I was less in love and more like, "I'm glad that's done." But Defensor's never been my favorite combiner. I'm a lot more excited for their Devastator, which looks like it's going to have some pretty crazy articulation. @M'Kyuunwill be glad to know they don't just have ankle pivots, looks like they've got at least 45 degrees of upward ankle tilt. And they both have way beyond 90 degrees of knee bend; Scrapper's pulling a full 180! Lest anyone thing I only care about the combined mode, though, here's the unpainted prototypes in bot mode. Of course I'll want to see them painted, but Scrapper's looking at least as good as the competition to my eye. As for alt modes... ...that also works for me. I dare say that Scrapper's looking juch better than Fans Toys, and while there's some details I like on XTB's I think I prefer MMC's. Really looking forward to these.

    So finished up Armor Hunter Merowlink today, so through all the OVA's and additional series! Didn't find a Blu Ray but got a link to the Japanese Perfect Soldier box and found the English subtitles as well, so now caught up in all what was going on! the latter series, these were a bit easier to watch then the 52 episode initial arc's But still an interesting story line!

    I purchased direct from D4Toys as well. D4 request a FedEx account number so they could add a tariff charge to it. I setup a FedEx account then gave D4 the account number. They shipped promptly thereafter and charged an additional $24 to the FedEx account.

    I was kinda thinking about it and I was liking the movie up until Bucky figured out that they had to do something about Bob. I think they should have done more of the group trying to nail their employer and less of the big bad God Bob. I still don’t get the groups motivation for giving up at the end, they could’ve nailed her and just said Bucky was their political support for the group. It was such a terrible ending that it kinda just will make the movie rather forgettable. I don’t think I’ll ever rewatch it like I did with a lot of the older marvel movies. The whole thing felt more like a tv show plot for a mostly skippable episode than a full on movie story

    I'm not sure I'd say the presence of absence of an "agenda" has anything to do with it. After all, the only agenda I've seen in Star Wars under Disney has been Disney's usual ruthless profit motive... or their release schedule, for a given value of the word "agenda". 😆😜 No, if I had to point to a probable cause for the trouble Star Wars so consistently has in the writer's room I'd say it's a combination of risk-averse development and a very narrow idea of what Star Wars stories can be. Writing a film for the broadest possible global audience doesn't leave much room to make an artistic statement, and the Disney+ originals rely upon excessive fanservice to avoid stepping outside of the narrative "comfort zone". It'll be interesting to see what they make of it. I'm not sure I'd say they're steering away from known territory, but they're at least attempting to move forward for once instead of just screwing around in the vicinity of the original trilogy... and a Jedi-free story should encourage a bit more depth.

    Gotta let us know how well it works. I’ve seen some non English vids of people using it and it seems pretty cool. That company is coming out with some rather interesting tools, saw a no clean airbrush that not only runs bottled paints, but also can be set to run paint markers as well. I don’t know how well it works, but they definitely have some creative ideas.

    My current project: (Spoilered in case anyone is squeamish): Aside from this, not much else going on; money is short (story of my life), so nothing new on the table. May try post-shading/ "post mottling" my cat's eye; it does need a stand so there's that. In other news: cannot find my 1/72 Tomcat models that ere in progress. We seem to think they may have gotten left behind during the move; that reduces my stash to...zero. Ain't life fun? Stay tuned.

    what exactly did you say to FedEx? I had my Alpha and Beta shipped via slow boat (Japan Post) prior to the tariff situation coming into effect. I realize that there are no experts here on tariffs and would appreciate some insight here if anyone can provide Shipping for the Alpha says “in transit “ and hasn’t left Japan yet. This was ordered from NinNin November 2024 and shipped August 21 2025 Shipping for the Beta says delivery expected Between today and September 10. This was ordered from Hobby Genki November 2024 and shipped August 1 2025. Any ideas/guesses on me getting hit with tariffs / trying to argue out of them would be appreciated.

    It was a fun movie, but it didn't really wrap up its story, the 'bad guy' got a work-around with no real repercussions for his actions and everyone just walked away with dust on their shoulders. Except Fem-Taskmaster. Again, fun, but....

    Mottling preshading started on the 1/72 Moscato Cat's Eye 👁️. This is as far as I've gotten on this kit in 10+ or so years.... 🤔 🙄. Still deciding on what paint scheme I want to do, kinda want to do something fun and crazy 🤪. Also picked up a Dspiae mini rechargeable electric sander, looked kinda cool for $30.... because I despise sanding... LOL

    As to the second issue, you could use a drill bit to open the female mounting holes SLIGHTLY, or you could use a bit of sandpaper to LIGHTLY shave down the diametre of the male insert peg. Just take it slow and test fit until you get the fit that you want.

    Recently won an eBay auction for a new in box VF-25F Super Messiah. Everything was great, except the gun arm is floppy in several poses but slightly snug in others. And the fixed gun hand was floppy in the socket. This is the first one I’ve had where the articulated hand actually worked well. And then of course you have the little alto there doing the Isamu thing. Now I want a Isamu statue doing the thing. And of course he is hanging off into the void on one of the amazing Gokin+ stands. (Extremely shameless plug). Seriously, they are freaking awesome and as you can see I trust them. You would seriously have to try to tip the whole unit to get them to fall. Image size: Height maximum per toy will now be set to 2400pixels for 3 pictures combined. That means one high resolution picture at 2400pixels or three decent resolution picture of 800pixels each.

    You could just try an abs glue like Bindine from the hobby shop. It’s pretty good at bonding abs plastic if given time to set. Just don’t pour too much in or you could end up melting the wing.

    It has likeable characters, but a kinda lame story. It just had a why did they go through all this kinda feel. Like the ending was just there to set up a new team and they never really stopped the bad guy. In fact they were about to bring her to justice and then just got distracted and stopped caring. I don’t even know if Bucky still works as a government official or just stopped caring about that as well. I kinda stopped caring by the end.

    Hi, the holder of the missile pod broke from the right wing of my yamato VF-1s TV Version(super parts) and is tightly attached to the missile pod. See image below as reference: With which strong glue can I strongly attach/glue the holder to right wing again. This holders hole(broken one) is too tight and many weapons are difficult to insert, how to make it less tight? Thanks in advanced for any kind suggestions.

    Thanks for the feedback, viewing y’alls work is a great motivator for me. There is virtually zero interest in model building locally:( Will keep ya posted on the Ger. It was pretty cheap as evidenced by the extremely shallow detail and it melts readily when worked to much. Slow and steady, tortoise wins the race on this one I’m hoping!

    Thunderbolts* was just released on Disney+. It was OK but glad I didn't pay money to see it in the theater. That seems to be the theme for most films these days.
