  1. Today
  2. Looks like some Hobby Town locations are doing a builders workshop and you get to build the basic rookie soldier kit from 30m Fantasy for free. Just got the email from hobby town this morning. Not sure if it’s every location or just certain ones
  3. Really enjoying these figures for the price. The only downside is the packaging puts stress on the joints on the figures by having them in a fixed pose. I still think the S.H. Figuarts figures are better for adding face plates for the figures and extra hands. The Dragon Stars range look good and pose well.
  4. Must mean Amazon.jp.
  5. This one is most likely not coming to US as a WWM release due to limitations on the original SDFM series and movie by Harmony Gold.
  6. Thank you, that does give me some idea, but I don't exactly equate ebay prices to prices people here might pay. Altho, since ebay prices are usually much higher, if subtracting 13% for ebay fees, 3% PP fees, etc, I think I'd rather just keep them if I can only expect to get $60 for them.
  7. You can always check sold auctions to gauge a price.

  9. What are HMR SDFM valks going for these days without OE packaging? Lightly played with and transformed with all pieces and accessories meticulously accounted for. These are almost always priced with original boxes claiming to be like new. I bought a loose one without the box and no accessories for $75 shipped once, but that was a few years ago.
  10. To paraphrase Newt, "Valkyrie Hunter D, he doesn't feel guilt b/c he's just a piece of plastic". Sorry, couldn't resist the Aliens reference.
  11. Yeah, the one we recently lost was the more active of the three and was always getting into things and hopping into the window sill to watch the birds in the morning and would always kinda get in the way while I would get ready for work. I miss her routine of silly chaos. But I still got the boys, even though they’re much more calm they’re still just as important and a reason to keep going. Haven’t thought yet about adding any more cats to the family yet. as far as that Rick Dom 2, I think it’s the rounder legs and head that I kinda like compared to the newer one. Just kinda thinking if I could somehow combine those elements of both kits and make an ultimate Dom 2 somehow. I think the head will be easy, but the legs might take some messing with.
  12. I will get this for the Hot Rod figure. To make him feel the guilt.
  13. They already got me buying Prime again with the Skybound version, and I'm told we can expect this battle-damaged retool to be repainted later in gray "sleep" mode. It's one thing for me to buy up a bunch of repainted Deluxes, but even I can justify buying every variant deco @ $60 a pop. (Please ignore the five versions of SS86 Grimlock...)
  14. @pengbuzz That looks GREAT! Normally I'm geek enough to look at kit bashed stuff and know what parts came from what, but that one's a tuffy! @Big s I'm sorry to hear about your "little helper". It was last Feb we had to put ours down and we still miss him. It is tough despite the joy and laughter we have with the two kittens who litterally fly over us on the couch as they chase each other or cuddle with us at bedtime and our original one. One of them sits upright at night and watches what I'm doing on my workbench. That Rick Dom upgrade would be cool! I bought several of the original 80's Rick Doms or II's (in the 80'as) and probably only built one as intended, but kit-bashed the others into something completely different! I'm sure you can find some nice joint or poly cap kits that will work for your mods. Thanks @Papa Rat! And another FSS kit to add to your collection soon! @derex3592 Yes, crazy!!! I knew one of Grumman's test pilots who worked with the Corsair. He had all sorts of crazy stories! Here's one with a jet engine on it! - MT https://www.facebook.com/paxmuseum/posts/testing-the-first-american-designed-jet-enginethese-three-views-show-a-goodyear-/10163858805070392/
  15. I missed the original release, so if I can get this on Amazon, I might bite. This will probably be the last Macross purchase I make, so, it seems fitting as back in 2008 or so (after finding MW on the web) my 1st was the Yamato 1/48 Roy. Kind of a book end to my Macross collection days.
  16. Only now realising Bandai has a Dragon Stars range. But it looks to be mostly for Dragon Ball series at moment.
  17. @Mog Indeed it is! It's a Vought OS2U Kingfisher floatplane. Can you IMAGINE the SET it took to be the pilots of these things in WWII? "You want me to take off a WHAT in a WHAT?!"
  18. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the previous pic, but this one does look better.

  20. Yamato released 1/60 v2 normal and weathering versions of 1S Max.
