  2. According to the e-mail I received, Sentinel Store will be shipping them out on the 25th: ●7月25日(金)出荷 RIOBOT 1/48 AB-01H トレッド(ストア限定特典付) Actually, he's from neither show. Rick Hunter is a Robotech character (most recently seen in The Shadow Chronicles). 🤮 That means he's fair game for marketing Macross or Mospeada merchandise... outside of Japan, at least. 😒
  3. G I Joe medical kit. I didn't care. If it's complete or not. I wanted the Medical kit box. Of course. I have to repair the bottom left part. Of the decal sticker.
  4. It's because it's the current world event causing controversy. I'm old so Israel Gaza wasn't my first thought, but Slobodan Milošević, Serbia, and the wars in Kosovo and Bosnia with a generic IndPakistania stand in for those two later places.
  5. Is this massive thread necromancy? Yeah. . . but it’s the most appropriate thread for these. (The figures are almost all from the old 25th line). So for the longest time, my display had 8 of the Original 13 Joes that first came out when the ARAH line started in the 80’s: (Yeah, I know General Hawk had a different look for his first figure, but I’m including my custom bomber jacket version with the Original 13 crew.) But maybe it’s the wifey doing her own preorder madness and going to the mall when it first opens to “collectible” hunt. But I got the urge to buy and customize the last five of the Original 13: I’m sure there’s numerous reasons/excuses why I never got these final five before. But figured it’d be a fun little project to complete the Original 13. Massive props to HissHissFangFang over at the Hisstank forums. I definitely crib a few ideas from his massive detailed custom works on the Original 13. Four out of these five have some sort of customization . . . with Breaker just getting an additional uzi and some minor darkening of his facial stubble. More pics:
  6. THE ONLY place. to find the tote bag. Is the Mandarake auctions.
  7. NOOO I would never do that to my stickers. I have ask Chacha Maru to buy them. So he could sell them. I just needed the SDF-1 button.
  8. The other Milia' DYRL film strip. No comment on that one.
  9. There is a yellow variant and a white one. That has the DYRL logo on the bottom. It has only the Macross logo on the middle of the bag.
  10. There is a yellow one as well. I know it was you. You did beat me from the Max DYRL film strip. I didn't bid on the last two Milia' DYRL film strips because I knew you wanted them.
  11. That's a very intriguing thought. It certainly makes a lot of sense to recover and recycle damaged and ruined ships (et al), as that arguably requires less expenditure than mining, extracting, smelting and so on to create metallic alloys. At the very least, they'd have a higher level of certainty in their estimates of what materials they are likely to acquire. 🤔
  12. Just just looking at some of the stickers again. Did anyone here ever turn over the little yellow sticker to see if you were a winner? I am tempted to do a few of mine. I've still never seen one of the Macross bags up for sale anywhere, and it said there were 1200 winners. Maybe all the winning stickers are in our collections and the bags were destroyed lol There was a recent auction for a large collection of badges, mint in the baggies (I did not win it) We've seen the stickers, the shitas, the puzzles, and the badges...but never ever ever the BAGS
  13. Nope, it's part of the tapestry of Superman's long and varying lore. I don't particularly care for that interpretation, but I concede that it exists and I didn't lose my 💩in the theater when the full message was revealed. Nor did anyone else who was watching (probably about 6-8 of us for the matinee yesterday). In truth, I'd go see it again, as I enjoyed more of the film than not. I wish Gunn hadn't used that interpretation, but at least Clark, in this corner of the Superman Universe, has doting parents in the personages of Martha and Jonathan Kent. And being an optimist, Clark can continue to cherish the first part of the message as he has for years while just ignoring the latter half. And people certainly do overreact to stuff, especially trivial stuff like a movie. It's entertainment- it's not your health, it's not your job, or your house, or a child, a partner, a parent, a friend in need or worse. It's just pictures on a screen telling a story for a couple of hours. "Nothing to get hung about", to quote the Fab Four. If a disagreeable moment or two in a movie is the worst part of your life, you're living a rather rare and exceptional life. Be thankful for those of you to whom it applies.
  14. Hey you outbid me on that Macross Vol II record bag...ha
  15. I like the implication that Mortal Kombat's universe differs from our own mainly in that New Line Cinema didn't get bought out.
  16. Kept hitting shops (so many) looking for Final Fantasy... bumped into this Voltron that seemed to be at a great price! Finally scored my FF stuff and got a sweet Bob Ross deck box, lol.
  17. I remember him definitely being a bit brighter kinda like a more lime color in the old cartoon, but I think dayglo neon was more the Dic episodes
  18. People often lose their💩at the wrong thing with these movies and shows
