    I don't recall Grimlock in Hearts of Steel? I do know Don Figueroa did a Grimlock tank design for a Dreamwave Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover set in the 1930s... HoS has John Henry in it, so while I don't recall a specific date it's likely set in the 1870s. The sequel, Infestation, is specifically set in 1888. That's still about 30 years before the Mark V, or really any tank. In addition to the cannon design that Hasbro used, Guidi did another design for Megatron that turned into a revolver.

    I'm not really into HoS, but as most of the alts don't do much for me. However, I'd love to have Grimlock as a Mark V tank. If you're gonna give Grimlock a vehicle alt, that's about as good as any. Funny Guidi chose Grimlock and not the more fitting Warpath., but whatever. Too, odd that he chose to make Megatron a field cannon instead of a tank.

    I don't understand how anyone involved on it's initial concept right to the engineering in CAD didn't say "Hey, this whole thing is NOT a good idea. Lets write it off."

    It didn't need the whole android with super stength and magic tech exploring it's own conscious. Only explaination is that the writer wanted to stamp his signature into the lore and that was the best he came up with, or, he plans to have a mary sue barehand showdown with the Xeno. Remove all that sticky fudge, and the concept of a ship carrying various lethal species and crashing on Earth is alone a solid enough concept to build on. Also, when in the alien lore will the protoganist be a male??? It's really screaming now that the alien is no longer the Xeno, but instead it's every slender paled skinned brunette.

    I’ve been watching the "Activate your alt-mode" from afar (since I don’t have an Instagram account). Now that Shockwave has been determined as the character it would be funny if the further choices are water based alt mode and the mode is a steam powered, icon clad dreadnaught.

    I wonder if some kind of tampo printing would work, i.e. applying the paint with a sponge and just hitting the raised structures.

    I got my Legioss from HLJ back in the day. Still rember there was an issue with oil prices and the exhange rocketed and ended paykng a lot more in MXN. Lol. Pretty sure I have some old photos of when I got it. Remeber sending a friend some picks of the box. *Edit: Found the picks. Dated 2021. Remebering now it was hold in HLJ private warehouse because of covid for almost a year. It makes it 5 years, not six. I kinda mixed up the release date. My bad.

    Episode 2 is a lot worse. Noah Hawley ignores decades of continuity, reinventing the Xenomorph as a Terminator... 😑 ...an impossibly efficient and indiscriminate Terminator, even. 🙄 No hive, no incapacitated victims, no instinct for reproduction or propagation of the species... just Jason Vorhees in a cheap rubber suit. 😑

    Person I want to display it some 6” figures in my 80/90s nostalgia shelf and he might be a little bit too small for it but I will wait for the full reveal, maybe he is bigger than he looks. Rex seems to be the same size as the ThreeA Half Size one but I probably will like Bandai’s execution more and I’m no fan of the weather on the ThreeZero/ThreeA toys.

    Those of us in Japan got the first Sentinel Legioss release in June of 2020. It seems hard to believe it's been five years already... 😯 ...but it's even harder to believe Mexico got it a year earlier. 😅
