  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah but a lot more articulation and ten times better looking totally makes it worth it. It’s like the comparison of hot garbage at a cheap price and a quality item for only a bit more
  3. Love it. Appreciate the updates. 👍 My wife’s first car was a POS VW beetle. It also looked like it was attacked by some hell hounds. Hahahaha.
  4. Progress on Mr. Stalker
  5. They're a disaster film sub-genre. However, GREENLAND was not bombastic. You're thinking of Michael Bay and Roland Emmerich's disaster films, lol.
  6. If you want to match that toyetic factory finish, you can't do without one! If you're going for the heavily-weathered look, however... ...a Dremel and some Q-tips may suffice. 😉 This bug has shiny chrome hubcaps, even on the spare tire. They've gotta go. Unfortunately, there's no sculpted detail underneath them... so I'll need to replace the hubs with 3D-printed VW rims. This is the look I'm going for. Now to start adding grime and rust to the body itself.
  7. Super Inspirational Fortress 1!! Looks like it's stepping from the shadows, ala Capt America in Infinity war, to save the Earth!
  8. I’m a “SDFM” or “TV only” guy, so, apart from Gerwalks & the orbital booster (!), they seem to have the plastic side of the equation well covered. Maybe a Battroid “Deculture” set would work. It’ll never happen, but a larger scale Plamax Battroid would be great, 1:48 or maybe even a fixed-pose 1:20 like Max Watanabe did for a promo.
  9. Today
  10. Looks good. Twice the cost of the Hasegawa version. Ouch.
  11. These extinction films do so very little for me. Too much bombast, too much stuff happening too quickly, overdramatically, and unrealistically. They're pure spectacle, and not in a good way in my eyes. So very Hollywood. 😏
  12. So sometimes I go back and try watching some of my cartoon favorites from when I was a kid, usually ending up mildly entertained and more often than not let down just a bit. He Man was a bit of a let down while Dungeons And Dragonns was just as good as I remember. But got a bit of a day off due to weather and so I gave a show that I hadn’t really thought much about at try since it was on Amazon without the commercials and was actually really surprised by how good the first episode was compared to my memory of the show. Anyway the show I tried watching and expected to be disappointed by was ALF the animated series. Not the live action or Alf tales. This was an 80’s American cartoon, but dispite that, this was a very high quality for a goofy spin off of a live action sitcom. The humor is still a bit tame, but wasn’t expecting a hardcore thing since it was an 80’s kids show, but I did get some chuckles out of it. But the real treat here was the animation quality, it’s a weird sci fi style with pointlessly stupid silly mechanical designs, but that gets a pass since it’s a kids comedy show. But this is a DIC production that seems to have had a Japanese studio working with them and this first episode was actually really cool. Lots of crazy angles and odd action that almost reminds me of classic Dragon Ball. The story is flimsy, but forgivable for the same reasons as the designs. anyway, I actually hope this cartoon gets a remaster one day to fix the graininess of what they have available on Amazon and I will definitely check out more episodes to see if they hold up to the chaotic and surprisingly Awsomely silly action scenes of the first episode. And just super surprised because I don’t remember the show being anywhere near how fun this rewatch was.

  14. Those are some big hair curlers
  15. That sucks, but at least you got the cash back. I have a feeling that you could find them from other places, or that they will just get reissued eventually
  16. Yea! Just got a message that mine is ready for pickup at my local grocery store which has a DHL pickup box! guess what I'll be doing later! 🤗
  17. Excellent choice! Thanks for the link.
  18. Is there a third-party seller with stock on Amazon? My friend in GA contacted Amazon customer support, and complained that his pre-order was cancelled even though other sellers have the same product available. They told him to order from the third-party seller, and refunded him the difference.
  19. I suspected that the white contrast would help the head come together, but I didn't expect how much the rest of the plane would clean up with the brighter colors. A lot of the Macross 30 textures are dark and muddy with a lot of weathering effects, so the grey job I grabbed from there was contending with that, but still... Maybe I'll come back and do a "clean" grey version at some point, but for now I think I'm on to super parts (maybe, there's another project I'd like to tackle that may come first since it should be fairly quick). Not sure what you mean about the calf. Not one of the parts I edited at all, so I suspect you just don't like the 25 shape in that regard? Unless I'm missing something.
  20. Cancel. But given it's nearly inpossible to spurce one now it's more like they fraked my childhood.
  21. Oh you mean Fyana's uniform. 😂 Bandai should provide her limo as well if they ever offer her in her Phantom Lady getup with the HMR Brutishdog...
  22. Not according to Sunrise! Since they are doing a lot of fabrics in the Gundam series, it would actually be a cool gimmick to ad the cape in this version of the figure! Then you could pose a Scopedog like the end credits from the original series....🤗
  23. Quite a lot of high-calibre actors assembled there. And fwiw, I found the last one (The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) more entertaining than I expected.
  24. you guys gotta remember... The BrutishDog was purposely designed and intended just for Battling only. Her Gatling arm will just not make sense in any other situations due to its limited ammo and stuff. Also, it's the only AT that Chirico 😎 add/edit: The HMR Brutishdog Fyana should be in her original pilot-suit... pic courtesy of https://anymoon.com/blog/?p=9922 But Bandai might just go Bandai again and use her green clothing to match their old 1/20 kit. Or even just use Vanilla instead of her just to frakk with us like what they did with their HMR VF2SS "Nexx" pilot...
