  2. Yeah, I mean, I at least like to think they aren't intentionally malicious with their teases. I can't even begin to pretend I understand the logic that governs their releases, and I can't say I know enough about gundams one way or another to guess why they behave the way they do, but their behavior with models at least seems a little more flexible? I'm surprised we got Gamlin's VF-22 at all, but maybe they were gauging reaction before they committed to the M&Ms. With the DX releases though, I'm firmly convinced they have their investments min-maxed to an obscene level, since they seem to have next to no interest to revisiting anything they don't think will sell well. With Luca, I cannot really blame them one bit for ignoring him (kind of like the Frontier movies did). I don't think anyone was clamoring for more from his character in any of the Frontier media. I would also not be even slightly surprised if Bandai collected export numbers for every release, and if the distribution between foreign and domestic purchases reached a certain point, they might make the assumption that everyone in the foreign market who wanted him probably already got him. Like imagine if they tracked the stock from the original release, and found that more foreign purchases were made than domestic. While that might point toward more of a foreign demand, it also means they'd probably be struggling to make back anything locally, and would be losing a lot to export expenses.
  3. Hacchaka’s review of the Metal Build God Gundam: https://hacchaka.net/archives/52124401.html I’m shocked that Bandai didn’t include the standard Metal Build arm for the base
  4. I don't intend to get it as I'm quite satisfied with SS86 UM (one of their best efforts IMHO); however, I'm curious to see how they accomplish this given the nature of the G1 toy and their efforts to maintain the G1 toy aesthetics amidst the upgrades to articulation. I'm thinking this fig will have more concessions to affect a functional bot mode than we've previously seen in this line. I wish they'd do the Fairlady Z bros and Megatron, as I'd love an articulated form of G1 Prowl to replace the one that I tried unsuccessfully to modify as a kid, and I've always had a soft spot for G1 Megs but never owned the OG toy. ML versions of both would be welcome.
  5. Does anyone know what happened to Arcadia's HARGUN? Will it finally happen or not?
  6. I just watched all 3 episodes and well.. i like the visuals, concepts and world building and the heavy metal is a bonus, i'm now looking forward to what we get to hear next. But wow, some of the character writing is just not good. Clearly there isn't enough knowledge on real military and lab protocols here. Especially for such a high dollar outfit like what Prodigy is supposed to be. There's such a lack of caution , fail safe and common sense running around..
  7. There’s actually a thread somewhere for it, but I never see it. Personally I think a lot of us just see things like that here or in the model section whenever someone posts it in random threads more often than its dedicated thread. Unfortunately things are very complicated for toy collectors and model builders since the majority of our favorite things come from countries that are affected. At least HLJ is ok with holding our stuff in the Private Warehouse, but then there’s the question of how long is this situation gonna last? Will it be months or even years? Things had already been going up in prices and now these new tariffs are probably gonna pump up the prices even more. But hopefully this will kinda blow over soon and things can get back to normal. I got a big backlog already and when my stuff over there finally gets shipped, I’m gonna have an instant backlog boost

  9. New trailer and release data It's beautiful, but still very sterile, in my opinion. I'll still watch it, though.
  10. Not sure if there is a better place to post this but looks like my items at HLJ won’t be able to be shipped at this time.
  11. That's just half the reason. The other half is Bandai just wants to mess with people by refusing complete collections. DX Valkyries are just one small thing in Bandai's list of highly sought after items they may or may not have prototyped and refuse to release. For example, the last two MG Age Gundams that they have displayed before have almost become a meme that the gunpla community goes to when it comes to unreleased items. There are tons of gunpla runners that are blatantly divided in ways that are prepared for alternate equipment variants that never get released, despite high demand. They'd rather randomly cook up a new and minimally different variant that nobody asked for, sometimes with completely new molds and runners for existing parts because it's more funny that way. Just look at the YF-21's fold booster struts in preparation for no fold booster release for an example of Bandai's type of sick joke lol
  12. Good looking Enterprise @derex3592. Can't even see the frustration from here! @MechTech So sorry for your loss. Can see you are giving the new little ones a wonderful home and a big sibling to boot. Oh yeah, nice work on the models...
  13. Thanks @Chronocidal
  14. I was gonna say, "Wait thought he died ages ago?" cause he was already old when he last appeared in DS9!

  16. @derex3592Wow. That came out great! 😊
  17. I absolutely love how they've paired them as a kit. Definitely worthy of someone's approval...
  18. Realistically speaking, I would not hold my breath. They haven't cared enough to complete any series group (that's valks and their packs) since the original Frontier releases. I think it's frankly kind of amazing we got Chuck's VF-31 at all. They just aren't willing to commit the resources to characters that don't have "enough" of a fan following at this point.
  19. Will Bandai complete the Vf-25 revival series and release Luca? Has anyone heard any news?
