    Hmm... I may hold off on my project to see if they have that kit at a reasonable price then. It'd be interesting to see of perhaps they mold some of the body sections in clear styrene.

    Awesome thank you both! Looking at HLJ, they show the pearl gray one being available December 2009 so I think maybe it's this: 1st Yamato fan racer was the WHITE version, sold in a box, with 1000 available at Shizuoka Hobby Show in May of 2009 with the rest available through Yamato's website. NO PILOT. 2nd release is the pearl gray version that was available through normal retail. WITH PILOT. 3000 Yen December 2009. 3rd release is the CLEAR version that was packaged with the Angelbirds in December 2010 through Macross Chronicle with more being released in May 2011. WITH PILOT. Maybe some more of the clear version were available on the Yamato website.

    I follow Pose+ and have a couple of their pieces but yeah they do previews 6 months to year out before release. Their Shin Getter line and GaoGaiGar are premium so I’m looking forward to having this as a mostpeada center piece

    Im interested and would buy it, but im in SEA, (Malaysia) soo i really dont expect ya to deliver it here. But if you do, Thank you ^^ Hope its not too expensive tho.. only found ones that is more than 150-200 bucks on ebay, geez..

    Yeeeeee I know, what i mean is just a 3d print model of it, due to how absurdly rare these are plus how expensive the original Yamato Ghost boosters in the secondary market or if theres any. I could wait for Arcadia to reissue it but the Arcadia VF 0 line release 10 years ago with the VF 0A got its reissue last May. The Ghost booster is just a simple accessory for the figure. Sadly just looked everywhere if anyone did a 3d printed model of it. Really dont mind if its just a static solid one like the Bandai HMR version. Just for fun display purposes ^^

    Yeah, that was the Shizuoka Hobby Show in May of 2009. Promotional images were posted on Toyark. I had to scratch-build a set of landing gear for mine back in the day, since the only way I could justify displaying it without a pilot was parked on the tarmac. The lack of landing gear would've been acceptable if there'd been a pilot figure, but the lack of both pilot AND landing gear was inexcusable. 😡

    HLJ has never delivered any of the Macross HG kits I pre-order from them. I always end up canceling and getting the kits from either Mndarake or AliExpress

    Haven't you heard? Round 2 has announced plans to re-release the old MPC Black Hole kits. Intention was announced to modify the Cygnus's length to make it more appropriate. I've heard that two kits are necessary to elongate the middle segment to make it more appropriate. Perhaps that's what they have in mind? I managed to get the old V.I.N.CENT kit here in Japan on YAJ for about 8,000 yen several years ago. Now they will re-release the old kit.

    I give Hasbro some leeway for their kids line and it is hard to separate my adult sensibilities from what kids find fun and engaging. However, I find this Galvatron too simplistic and nondescript (what is even that beast mode) and I don’t understand the $5 up charge for only adding such a simple weapon. With regards to Wild King I’m looking forward to having mine in hand once HLJ is restocking more limb bots.

    I usually luck out there and haven’t had a problem with their Macross stuff, but did not luck out on the Gallus J. I guess I’ll just have to try a stateside place

    Maybe @Angesdad or @EzraNox will be interested in your set. I'm ok with mine. I know the gray-part is in one of my baggie-parts, but I'm not that motivated to go searching for it. Besides, I'm really not that keen on the VF-0+Ghost combo look. Nice in fighter-mode, but it looks just awful to me in gerwalk and battroid modes. 😅

    that plastic knee nub angle was too sharp, created alot of broken hook legs. (crazy glued mine back on)

    i have two boxed (once i get back East Coast) if you want to buy a set. (i brought them off that old ebay user sabrina_skimpy when they were cheap, they came with the factory tissue paper boxed) jk, probably won't get to it till 2026.

    oh actually that's correct. it was too tight so i didn't bother wanting to stretch my tailfins on my 0A maybe that's why it fell off... and then the weapon holder were too large. I didn't want to put tacky pudding. on it and just kept them boxed in storage. not a good fit.
