  1. Past hour
  2. Prowl's one of my favorite TF designs so I'm also hoping the Fairlady Zs will get the Missing Link treatment. I pretty much destroyed my original Prowl toy trying to give him some leg movement when I was a kid. I had no modding skills and I failed miserably. Anyway, the G1 TF toys don't interest me as-is, but the Missing Link treatment imbues them with the articulation I so wished they had when I was a kid and I'm definitely down for Prowl at the least. As to prices, greed and price gouging have made collecting a lot less fun, for sure.
  3. Woah! That's a neat find! And the fact that the Gurāji-legged version was semi-officially released is also pretty cool. ※ It's also the first time I've seen a version that matches Kazutaka Miyatake's designs for that particular beast. Reviewing the lineart for it (Kazutaka Miyatake Design Works Macross & Orguss Pgs 92-93) I noticed that the "feet" are slightly different from the Gurāji: 2 toes and a single heel. The zoomed-in image above is consistent with that, as well as the other leg details in the top-most illustration on Pg 93.
  4. Farm animal auditions are tonight. I think I’m going with chicken. Goose is great but tonight’s not your night.

  6. I found a handful of Macross item flyers, and some misc Promotion items, so figured I'd put a placeholder here. Here is one of the Misc items...a Sega Saturn promo sleeve for the 'upcoming' at the time DYRL game (1997) It would be displayed in a plastic cd case and placed on the shelf to excite you for what was coming down the road. If you zoom real in real close on the game pics shown on the back, you can see the final boss for the 1st stage, which at the time had GLAUG LEGS! In the final release for the game, it was changed to a flying boss. In one of the Sega Saturn Gama magazines around the time (1997) there was an included game disc, which was a common practice at the time for people to preview the upcoming games. The promo disc had stage 1 of the Macross game as a preview, and in that version you can actually play against the Glaug footed version shown above! I've got the disc and magazine squirreled away somewhere....when I find it I'll include a pic of what issue it was from. I remember playing it and going 'What the heck is this!??' (I got the magazine a few years AFTER the game was released)
  7. It's the newest GFFMC, Char's MS-06R-1A. Comes out Jan 2026. Apart from the upper chest, the rest looks like the previous GFFMC High Mobility (with fewer accessories).
  8. Lego set 43279, on the market this September - a must buy for me:
  9. Nah, we've seen what happens then... you just get Bond villains and upset your tailor. 🤔 Star Trek really has gotten comfortable dropping references to TAS though, hasn't it? There was a good twenty or so years there where TAS was nearly as verboten as subject as Star Trek V: the Final Frontier, Lower Decks of course hit us with some low-key ones like that Kzinti ensign on the Cerritos, the Pandronian drill instructor, and the corpse of Spock Two on display in a collector's ship. IINM, "A Space Adventure Hour" is the first overt reference to TAS in a live-action series.
  10. There was a scratch across this section that I didn’t notice until the camo was applied.. I’m buffing it out and now ready to repaint.
  11. Nice! Excited to see this one.
  12. Looks like it could be very interesting. I have so many space things and always curious about ships, but usually just stick to bots and armor suits
  13. Saw this on Pinterest . https://pin.it/434kO1jHo
  14. Finally working past a stalled build. (or many...) Decided to break out the Ranger from the movie Interstellar. I had it a while ago but ended up selling it for some reason. then another Facer was getting rid of some kits and it was in the pile, so I reached a hand and yelled GIMMEEEE!!!! It's not a complicated kit by any means. Few parts and it seems to be going together pretty well. I had most of the fuselage together in 30 minutes. The only mods are closing up the gear wells and putting in a mounting pole for an 'in-flight' display. As is at the moment. Thom
  15. To be honest, I don’t really care much about cameos, I’d rather just see a good Spider Man movie. That last one was a mess of o movie
  16. I have no clue, the forums with the last update we did seems funky sometimes with the attachments. Some were even disappearing then reappearing. I think they introduced a new bug, but I can't roll back to the old, they don't allow it. Hopefully they will provide another patch, I'll see on the support forums if anyone else sees these attachment issues Please go ahead and fix whatever you need to fix , the screenshots are all I need.

    1/55's revisited

I definitely agree with you, I prefer the red-colored lasers more than they gray Takatoku chose. There is lots of precedence for colored lasers as well...at least from Takani and Suzuki and other artists.
  18. Yeah, I meant their PMC division was hosed as far as finances.

  20. God I would absolutely love missing link Z's as a Z enthusiast. Infact I almost traded in my 370Z this week for the new 25 Z but the dealership we were getting it from at work said no dice, car had hail damage and they didn't wanna repair it so the deal fell thru. Was absolutely bummed, really wanted to drive a new Z for my birthday this weekend. Speaking as is tradition for me the last 6 years, been at a con all day. There was a vender booth with just a ton of Transformers from all the different lines but what got me so giddy were the Alternators, I absolutely LOVED that figure line cause they were all scaled realistic vehicles of the early 2000's. But when I looked at the boxes for these things the guy wanted 200+ bucks each....man I get they're MIB but by god 200, there's an Ozzy line thrown there somewhere I can't repeat. He also wanted 90 for SS86 Swoop, another wanted 80 for a Takara Pre-earth Wheeljack. GET BLEEPED! 130 for Long haul and Mixmaster! Come the freak on, I get trying to turn a bit of a profit but that's almost double the cost, I'd been stupid to buy those.

  24. Maybe try that fence, but beat it up and soak a heavy wash and then dry brush some light color like old bare rotted wood or something
  25. Sort of? It's not Xaos's fault that the PMC division was financially unprepared to wage an extended war without the financial backing of their client government. Their contract with Ragna and the Brisingr Alliance was to suppress Var outbreaks and provide preventative measures. Legally speaking, they weren't supposed to be participating in the war at all because they are not strictly speaking soldiers. In truth, what it really shows is how wildly popular Walkure were in that part of space. Walkure were able to raise enough money to resupply Xaos's PMC division forces for continuing combat service in a single cluster-wise "guerilla live" event over the Galaxy Network. They livestreamed a concert to two dozen or so planets and it made enough money to fund a small army for at least a couple weeks! What must have been hundreds of millions of dollars at the very least.
  26. In other words: they're hosed.
  27. Love the suggestions. I think I’m leaning into a chicken or goose and smaller animals. I feel like those animals may survive some apocalyptic events. Small and able to reproduce fast. Also maybe a Rabit could work? I like the idea of included some detritus showing signs of what used to be a farm or human element like the fence or maybe even Brocken boards. 👍 I got work to do. Lol
