  1. Past hour
  2. Iron Man Mark VII (Battle Damaged).
  3. Really wish Bandai wouldn't have abandoned their Star Wars ships line. Those were the best kits and there were sooooo many more to get to! 😭
  4. Seriously who even is in charge of which ships get produced in what scales now? Is it too much to ask to just get someone with half a brain to produce a complete line in a scale that actually makes sense? And by "makes sense" I mean to actually look at the sizes of the pilots and scale the ships by that, instead of some half-cooked stat sheet pilfered from the annals of old RPG rulebooks. Like it actually drives me bats that the most complete and (mostly) accurate collection (minus a few insanely notable exceptions) is the MGS line.
  5. Today
  6. Coming along nicely. I honestly don't even remember those scenes with the workroid lol. You aren't realizing you are addressing yourself for me, with the exact same information I am basing my idea on. lol I did not mention bending time. I said tampering with the time component of a force, with what ISC already does. Exactly by displacing inertial forces for a short time. Once again, I was giving the example of an unarmed cargo ship, cheaping out on security, fending off space pirates and hungry monsters. Nobody is out to shred, melt, and delete the ship itself. It's already a universe with humanoid/bipedal robots, that take their little hands and fingers into space, despite being up against the same beam cannons and missiles. If even forklifts can dance, I think we are already past the point of worrying about the finest details of realism here. lol
  7. I'm not a "True 1/6 collector" as what some 1/6th collectors might say as I have approximately 20 1/6 figures in my collection since I've caught the the bug in 2018 @shazam. I'm very picky and I get what I like and that's that. I don't have deep pockets like Justin, Jedha Patrol, Kazuma or any of the "toxic shilling" influencers that love to show off everything that they have and brag to say "You have to get this and this for your collection just to be liked by others.
  8. Thanks, I'm also a huge Zimmerit Moe fan. Sean's well researched zine's are rad as well. Tracking down info for this particular doujinshi is proving quite a pain. But seeing as it was made in their 3rd year of high school, I shouldn't be surprised. Typo in my OP too, Gun Sight is the circle name, not Gunsight One.
  9. Thanks to y'all for your takes on the “new” BSG. I’m so onboard for a good series to veg out to. @505thAirborne Wow those builds are wonderful. 👍
  10. @Papa Rat - Agreed with most here -- get the Blu-Ray's and watch the new BSG. It's FRACKIN great! (You'll get that joke later)... Thanks everyone for the compliments on the BUFF! I continue to try to improve but I'm always my worst critic! @tekering - As a HUGE fan of Southern Cross, I envy ALL your Captain America Resin builds, can't wait to see this one completed! Side note --- Would you ever think about trying to design and print the Zor's or "Robotech Master's" Mother ship? I've NEVER seen even a garage kit of it....
  11. @tekering The PEGASUS is truly a Beast, I sure wish Moebius or someone else would reissue the kits, I'd love to get 1 or 2 more. @Papa Rat The original Battlestar Galactic is one to be watched, remembered & respected, especially given when it was made. I wouldn't mind seeing a reboot of the original storyline from the 1978 series. As for the RDM reimagined series, find the DVD's or Blu-ray's and watch the entire thing, it's quite possibly one of the best series ever made. From the acting, sets, & musical score by Bear McCreary, it's one not to be missed. @Thom I think Prometheus is the way to go too.
  12. @Thom Hey thanks. @tekering Wow. That’s wild! That’s a ton of amazing work right there. 🎉 I have only been to Japan once and most of the places I stayed in had very limited space. Well, at least the spots in the heart of the cities I visited anyways. Very cool internal detail. Is that located in the chest area? Man I love that blue. Excited to see this all finished.
  13. For once, I've taken the time to paint the interior detail of a Bioroid: Yeah, but it's very awkward to photograph from the stairwell... This is the best I could manage, from the second floor landing. You, sir, have a right to your opinion, and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I would never deign to deprive you of that right. 😅
  14. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUn-mTjkoSK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== How awesome would it be if they did surprise us with a SS86 Unicron?
  15. Hi, not sure if this is exactly related to what you're looking for, but the website Zimmerit, which covers a number of 80s era anime (as well as the general scene around manga and anime in Japan at the time) has the following article: https://www.zimmerit.moe/macross-design-shoji-kawamori-kazutaka-miyatake/
  16. Wow those are very cool mecha. Thinning 1-5 is wild. I’m about to use their star bright gold with rapid thinner on the next build which. Maybe I’ll snoop around for metallic thinning ratios. A chromed out gold would be wonderful!
  17. Nah, they’ve been talking about live action for over a year. Just hoping it’s great. Amazon does have some good shows, and a couple stinkers. But I feel like it’s more hit than miss
  18. No pr, thanks for the recommendation and can’t wait to see the next build. I’m have a few gai colors and one I want to play around with is their star bright brass. Supposedly it can be thinned down to around five parts thinner and turns into a smooth gold chrome. Got a Jagd Doga and Hyaku Shiki that I want to use that on
  19. The stupid painful part of this is that you just know Bandai gonna Bandai, and make all of the worst assumptions when sales don't match their expectations. "Oh, our fifth reissue of the main character's vehicle is underperforming. Guess no one cares about this series anymore." No, you insipid pisswaffles, no one is buying it because everyone interested in it already has four other copies, and you refuse to produce the versions you teased, and they've been waiting for for eight freaking years.
  20. Netflix' "The Beast in me" was the best miniseries I watched in the recent past. Good writing, beautifully shot, and the two leads are killing it in every scene. Hitchcock reloaded.
  21. @derex3592 She sure looks perty in pictures! Nicely done BUFF. @505thAirborne Your battlestar is coming along great. Of the name choices, I'd go with Prometheus. Once again, another piece of art @Papa Rat. Eh... I've seen both of them, and I have to say I vastly prefer the original. Ship aside, which I prefer more than the TOS Galactica ships... I liked the mini-series, but that's as far as I would ever watch it again.
