  1. Past hour
  2. Hahaha I still need to build the Max and Focker kits. Maybe they can play rock paper scissors ?
  3. @Papa Rat What a great looking build and pose! He looks like he's all outta bubblegum.
  4. Today
  5. That kinda stuff was definitely pretty common at the classic swap meets. Couldn’t confirm if it was a bootleg or not, because they also had plenty of ligit items there as well. But if you say they loved going there, I can pretty much guarantee that that’s where they at least picked it up from.
  6. Thanks for clarifying that; sometimes the names can drive me up a wall! Ah, okay. So Britai wouldn't be tossing them around like he did during SW1. Ok; what threw me was how much shorter than Britai he was.
  7. I echo what Big S said. Such a fun build, highly recommend!
  8. Wait... they crammed two hundred more people onto Kirk's Enterprise? O.O Did he date all the women aboard and run out or something?! 🤪
  9. I bet it was a swap meet! My parents loved swap meets, and did get me some giant Transor Z/Mazinga toys from swap meets. Coulda all been bootlegs too (including my Srungle) as far as I know.
  10. I kinda forgot about the Aoshima add-ons. Did you get a chance to finalize the windshield change on the Blowsuperior? . . . Personally, I wasn’t too bugged by Sentinel’s choices with the Ride Armors, except for hot pink Houquet and the overly-busy HUD lines on the visors.* But it’s not too difficult to address those issues (and change the color on two of the bikes’ windshields too): * I also would have preferred a slightly lighter blue for Yellow. But it’s not a deal-breaker.
  11. Odd items like that would occasionally pop up a swap meets or were gifted to me by someone that went to the swap meet. The 80’s swap meets were kinda exciting with the oddities that showed up. Never saw one of these toys though, but I remember a transforming Orgus toy way before I ever knew what Orgus was
  12. That's awesome, thanks for sharing! The question remains tho... who is John Gaydos?? lol
  13. Includes his coffee, but no doughnut. This is gonna be a bad cop bad cop situation for sure
  14. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I had too much fun just doing my test fitting with it and seeing the range of motion of the joints. A few loose bits, but a spot of glue can easily fix those

  16. You misunderstand/I wasn’t sufficiently clear. By “looked/felt like junk,” I am referring to the quality of the plastic itself rather than the toy’s design. [But don’t get me started on my copy’s (note: N of 1) abysmal tolerances.] I have the red one, and the surface sheen, translucence, heft, and in-hand-feel are the epitome of “disposable economy.”
  17. Ask and ye shall receive: Tekering brought receipts.
  18. I just did that, but it didn't seem that bad. The transfer looked like it would take forever, then wrapped up really quick. Mine defaulted to the slower 2.4 band. The moment I flipped it to the 5/6 band it took off like a rocket. The new MK is lots of fun except for Donkey Kong being a menace.
  19. Nothing you haven't seen before, Mog. You know Sentinel's ride-armors look better with Aoshima helmets... Aoshima boots... Smoked visors for the helmets... ...and Houquet requires a new face AND a total repaint. I can't abide this. The Evolution Toys Legioss were cheaply-manufactured, poorly-made toys, certainly... ...but they were nonetheless they best-looking Legioss we'd ever had, far more accurate than the Gakken, Toynami, Aoshima, or CMs that came before them. Heck, they still look better than the upcoming Pose+ Legioss does!

  21. Welcome to Kickstarter. The only way to sell something if you have absolute contempt for your customers. (Here's a good explanation of why I say that. It doesn't even touch on the standard multi-year delays.)
  22. I was searching for pictures of the Cosmo Tiger when this unexpectedly popped up: https://ourstarblazers.com/vault/models1115tf/
  23. This comment needs pics. . . for context and clearer understanding.
  24. Somehow, I received a 1:100 Clover Srungle as a kid right around 1985. My mom thought it was a Transformer. I have no idea how she came upon that thing in Nowheresville California, but she did. My dumb friend eventually broke it. But I always had fond memories of the toy, even if I had no idea what the thing was. 35 years later I'm laughing at the "MEESHON -- OUTTA SPACE" anime intro on Youtube and it hits me -- was my mystery childhood toy from freakin' Srungle of all things? Indeed it was. $100 bucks + shipping later, and I have it again, basically new in box. I guess not many people collect Srungle.
