    I was kind of hopeful that the newer ones might have had better qc/production values. The apparent care given to the paint and packaging of the Fugu made me think that maybe the production tools were being used by a different party, but it's just as likely that it's the same backing.

    The model box art tribute is great, but I'd have loved to have seen a tribute to the old Takatoku gift set.

    that's actually inaccurate, Octane is bigger than a shuttle. They just made AstroTrain too large in the movie.

    He did, but he still looks stronger than the average Hollywood actor these days and he definitely can act a thousand times better than what I’ve seen from the Rock.

    Difference? Fugu IS Valkyrie Factory. (Or so we believe). As such, the Fugu is just another VF-1S in a different color scheme. I do like that we can add a cheap Valkyrie Factory strike pack to the Fugu as a result.

    Good god it's beautiful. Now this is something I wouldn't mind dropping $400 on, which means the MSRP will be $750.

    Lego has become time-killer hobby for the upper class mainly for accumalation bragging rights. Hence Lego releases more sets these days that only selective adults can afford while kids with allowance can only look at a 10-20$ city or puny ninja mechs. Myself, I checked out a while ago. I only bricklink pieces and minifigs for mocs these days and sometimes get cheap sets max 20$ on sale. Last set full price set I got and won't take apart was the 2021 Tumbler. I'll only drop green this year if they'll make a Tron Ares set.

    Nothing with his skills. But just doesn't have that natural demonic look that Kurgan had. Thankfully it ain't Pedro Peanuts... This would have been a full win.

    Oh it's Drax. But in all fairness, to me his performance in Blade Runner 2049 has proven his talent as a serious actor under the right director.

    I think the eyes should have been level with the person inside, but that probably would remove the lower jaw. But I still think it would look better that way

    Not sure about the Intel CPU. You could get away with 16GB if this year's model has extra RAM slots. If it does, then the 16GB is fine.

    I’m always afraid of enamels on toys, because if it accidentally gets on the wrong plastics, it can turn into a perma goo layer that stays forever sticky. I’ve also never had enamel stick as well to a project as with lacquer. Still usually better than basic acrylics though

    Once again, no TV Kaki so I can be done, one day, some day, I will have it. Maybe I can finish Vermillion sometime around 2030 at this rate, that'd be okay I guess.

    For best adhesion, go with enamel paint. Once cured, it's also pretty tough. The only issue with enamel paint being that it takes quite a long time to cure. Testors/Model Master enamels can sometimes take up to a week to cure.

    I mean brand new decal/scheme variants though... would be nice to see alternate squadron versions of the VF-1 gerwalks, VF-25 series, VF-31 series... since they haven't gotten any yet. But I'd easily spend money on fun new marking versions of the VF-1, VF-11, YF-19, YF-21, VF-0, etc... As for Black Aces... I dunno. I'm sitting on 3 of the 1/72s and 2 of the 1/48s right now. I THINK the 1/72 technically has 4 build options in the box, and the 1/48 has 5. Part of me wants to go crazy and buy 1 more 1/72 and 3 more 1/48. My more rational side says no way in hell, you'd never build all of them. Having 5 of the 1/48 sitting around would be kind of insane.

    Hey, I'm happy to see them finally prove the line isn't dead with a release I can happily snooze through. Wake me up when they decide to release something actually seen in a series or movie.
