Lil ol me 'get out'? You might be missing all my sarcasm, such as hiding a giant destroys monster with shadow tech and so on.

I'm a Mospeada fan through and through, as you can tell by my using Legioss instead of RT terminology above.

But you will notice that this thread often contrasts the Toynami offerings against the true Japanese counterparts. I think most Mospeada fans are at least mildly interested in new releases, even if they're called Betas instead of Treads...

I saw your sarcasm and was playing along...sorry, I thought you got that.

Anyway - I'm torn on the Shadow Beta. I think I too will wait until it goes on deep sale.

If they were smart they were make very few to spur more orders up front.

Does anyone have a side view of the Legioss in Soldier and how the cockpit re-configs?

Where does the canopy glass go? Or is this just anime magic...

Darrin, maybe I missed it, where were those Shadow Beta pics taken? Comic-con? I'll bite the bullet and buy one when it's released but more out of curiosity's sake than anything.

Yep - Taken at Comic-con.

The fried egg eyes show up even more on the gray shadow scheme to me.

Once these 3D printer guys get some bandwidth we need a chest cover for these Treads.

No mention or pre-order on RB.com? That seems odd...

Hard to believe Toynami is still producing Robotech stuff. They seem to have squandered so many opportunities to repair their reputation.

Add to that, their MPC Voltron Base with sound that's been on pre-order forever has finally been officially cancelled. Instances like that will keep collectors' expectations dismal and low.

Maybe this thread needs scans of the mecha from the Palladium RPG books.

Hard to believe Toynami is still producing Robotech stuff. They seem to have squandered so many opportunities to repair their reputation.

I thought they were still trying to do that with the Robotech plushies that were revealed at Comic-Con.

That Gosu actually looks really good painted up.

Not my kit - but I bet I could get you one of the 1/72s for about $275

I'm more after the 1/48 scale Gosu, Scouts and Enforcers from CurioCraft...

Do you have a link/pic for the 1/48 kits? (At one point I was contemplating making my own...)

Was thinking of bidding on that one. Would pay a lot more than if E2046 manages to get them in later.

Looks bigger than it is in this pic. Bet it can comfortably fit in the palm of your hand...

Finally got around to getting a cheap Red Beta Tlead/Tread whateverthehell you wanna call it. Got a low # Masterpiece (#433) off Amazon for $75 new in box. Couldn't pass it up...Red Beta's get NO love! :wub: ...so i panel lined and stickered him up tonight! Now....gotta track down a green one for cheap....doesn't look like it's gonna be easy either,,, :huh: If anybody's got one for sale...hit me up!

I still wish I had a Alpha/Beta combo unfortunately all I have is a Shadow Fighter.

So I checked Amazon and it seems that the deal for that Beta is the only legit price on there. Everything else is a damn crime.

I read about it but I have zero faith. On top of that I'm not willing to pay the $160 MSRP when I can pick up an Alpha/Beta set for less than that. Thanks for the heads up though, I'm more than prepared for the screwing.

Wow... DarrinG, Where did you get that model, and who do I have to bribe to get one? (as in, do you have a link to a seller?)

Became a Fan of Mospeada when I was in college, and have never been able to get over the fact that they were so poorly supported by any of the toy or model companies. I'd love to own something like that.

It's an absolute crime that Toynami didn't make those Jupiter/Mars Base emblems and number stickers bigger for the wings.

Bigger emblems and numbers really make the Beta's wings stand out so much more.

^^We can shave a few years off the sentence for them finally making a solid Beta.

Or maybe making the Beta prevented them from getting the death penalty. :ph34r:
