jenius Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Some nice upgrades in that list. I'll buy one when they're available to ship. Quote
tekering Posted January 14 Posted January 14 "Converts the pilot (not included) into a recon-type robotic unit..." ...like Canti from FLCL? 🤨 Quote
Chronocidal Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Like.. ok, I'm all about bonus features. But.. what? Quote

rsvictor1976 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Is there a good third party stand for the Battle Pod? Quote

Perhaps printed in 3D I saw that on @jenius video, but I was hoping for stand that would support it while it was still standing up. I’m curious, the Battle Pod has been out for a year now, does it still feel stable to stand on its own, or if it’s starting to become wobbly due to all that weight? Quote
wm cheng Posted January 24 Posted January 24 It's totally stable to stand on its own. Maybe not in super one-legged dynamic kicking poses, but the static standing and reverse kneeling for entry its totally stable. My main complaint is all the separate little switches to turn all the lights on and off are a pain, but otherwise a great toy. Quote
varitechs Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Originally there was a display stand (look picture) stand but the product page changed in February 2024 and the stand has disappeared from the description. Edited January 26 by varitechs Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) I’m late to the party, but I finally got one. Edited January 31 by rsvictor1976 Quote
jenius Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Play with it and let us know your thoughts. After I wrap up my DX GBP I'm probably moving on to the artillery pods. Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) I’m a little surprised. I ordered the regular Battle Pod and I got the Heavy Artillery version instead. I can't say I'm disappointed as I still like the toy. I was planning on getting the artillery variants after i checked out the normal Battle Pod first to see if I liked it. I was also worried that the Heavy Artillery variant would be hard to stand up with the weight of the missiles but I'm happy I was proven wrong. Question, does the Heavy Artillery version come with it’s own instructions or the one for the original Battle Pod? Edited January 31 by rsvictor1976 Quote
varitechs Posted Saturday at 11:32 AM Posted Saturday at 11:32 AM Curious error... but it's the same instructions for each Quote
jvmacross Posted Saturday at 04:24 PM Posted Saturday at 04:24 PM The differences are in the tampo....and a sticker added to the outer box designating one of the two missile types.... Based on the recent posts from KC.....the electronics for the upcoming Scout will be refreshed....other than the specific scout parts....not sure if they are tweaking anything else on the Regult.... Morgen Black Posted Saturday at 04:49 PM Posted Saturday at 04:49 PM I just received these from Kitz Concept yesterday. I got lucky and didnt have to pay tariffs with UPS, not sure how I swung that? Anyway, these are great additions to my collection. The quality, details and extra parts are very nice. Well worth picking up, if you are interested. I picked up Khyron, Dolza and Konda. MB Quote
jenius Posted Saturday at 04:53 PM Posted Saturday at 04:53 PM Some of these carriers bill tariffs after delivery so your not in the clear yet! I've been waiting to hear they're done so I can buy them all and have them ship in one big other, think he mentioned a bundle pack also on FB. My battlepods need pilots! Quote

I have always had to pay the tariff to UPS before they would deliver to my residence. I have had a few where I didnt get notified of the tariff until delivery was attempted, but I will keep an eye out. Thank you for the heads up. MB Quote

MB On the zentraedi figures, can the lower arm be positioned in the proper way to protect the elbows instead of the side of the arms? Quote

You can rotate the lower arm armor to the rear to protect the elbows, but if you want to bend at the elbow the angle of deflection is a bit outward because the armor plate will hit the back of the upper arm. It will be your choice when posing your figures. Overall, I think they did a great job with a 4.5" figure. Glad I grabbed a few of them. MB Quote

jvmacross Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Directly from KC.... Also got my Battlepod Pre-order figs.....opted for one "Adam" just to have one and 2 "Seth" variants... The figs are nice and fullfill "the promise"....more or less....of a Regult with pilot.....but they are just way too small to display with any other Macross toys that are not in "HM-R" scale.... KC 1/72.... HM-R VF-1... Yamato 1/60 VF-1.... THREEZERO VF-1.... KC 6".... HM-R Defender.... Quote

The site doesn't show either Seth or Adam available for sale or even preorder. What do you mean by "more or less?" Are they finally fulfilling the promise to include a figure with every regult preorder? Or are you saying they're only fulfilling the promise to make a figure that fits in a regult? Quote
jenius Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago It sounds like you can request a pilot figure be shipped if you buy something else and pay for combined shipping. That works for me... I'll give it a try. Quote
Morgen Black Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I had a pre-order from early last year and I saw that they were available. I told them, that I wanted my order and threw in Dolza to make it a three pack. If I wouldn't of emailed them, I am pretty sure my order would still be pending. FYI. MB Quote

Yes...but I had to pay to have them shipped, so combined them with the Silver-1S... The site doesn't show either Seth or Adam available for sale or even preorder. I knew about them from pics found on the web, ebay, etc....since KC owed me 3 figs for my 3 Regults w/pilots po's....I requested one of each....the shiny paint version is the one that most received when their figs were actually fullfilled by KC last year.....it is missing some of the accessories from the Seth releases....never liked it so was glad they were able to replace them with 2 of the variants which look much better....not sure if other variants exist or maybe just factory errors....but the 2 Seth figs I received are legit variants from KC.... What do you mean by "more or less?" By "more or less"....I meant that the fig "fits" just not very well....The original KC promise was an articulated figure that could actually be seated inside their Regult toy.....technically the mission was accomplished....the sacrifice was a figure that is so diminutive that it only pairs well with a toy line that KC does not make....the Bandai Macross HM-R line..... Are they finally fulfilling the promise to include a figure with every regult preorder? Or are you saying they're only fulfilling the promise to make a figure that fits in a regult? That promise was never broken by KC....they have your figs.....I think if you reach out to KC and ask nicely, they will ship out your fig(s) but you will need to accept the reality of our current quagmire and cover the shipping and Trump's taxes if you are in the US...if you can continue to wait, I am sure KC won't sell the figs that belong to past Regult PO's.... 13 minutes ago, Pontus said: Quote

It's possible....all I know is that each time I placed the pilot figure inside the Regult cockpit it would get "decapitated" when I would open it back up.....I just used the sparkly painted fig to test as I didn't care what happened to it... jvmacross Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I like the new shoebox style packaging.... VF-1J "head".... A extra VF-1A head would have been nice too.... Quote
