From CCS Toys? I love the paintwork on this. :good:

Yeah. Looks absolutely stunning and badass at the same time. I don't usually go for stylized reinterpretations of mecha/robots, but this one feels like this is how GL would look like if the show got a reboot and the animators gave this guy an updated look or design.

I still have my old Konami Great Impact GL as the OG anime accurate version in my collection ;).

I don't actually connect with GL itself as I never watched the anime, but when I first saw the toys it strongly reminded me of character Bishamon in Capcom's Darkstalker fighting game. The demon torso thing is kinda cool, and I bet Capcom used GL as the inspiration for it.

Getting back into gunpla with an out of the box build to get my feet wet.  RG Aile Strike is fun to pose with just a couple of finnicky spots.  Gotta love the engineering on this kit.

My son got an entry level gunpla build from a friend.

Pretty impressed with the articulation and the ability to hold a pose on these so-called entry kits.

Ringing in the new year by speaking softly and carrying a big honkin’ Gatling gun:

. . . And a crazy load of missiles and bombs.

. . . And enough ammo to take down a swarm of Inbit.

I cannot recommend the Entry Grade kits enough to anyone who wants to get into gunpla.  The parts can simply be pushed off the sprues and the color separation is nice.  I built the Nu which looks great right out of the box.  It just doesn't have the fin funnels though.

Yeah I'm quite impressed with the HG kits, and I'm more partial to the simpler designs like the Barbatos as they can be posed easily as compared to say, a Freedom which really needs to be placed on stands at minimum.

Am hunting these down now. Always loved the character designs in Ranma 1/2.

Here's the other pair:

I managed to acquire all four Luminasta figures for less than $27 USD... including shipping! 😁

Another great set of figures, and made even better with your photography.

I'm liking how prize / UFO catcher figures these days have generally upped their quality significantly whilst remaining wallet friendly. :good:
