There should be another category for "what's the most you paid for a marked-up, oop macross toy." Kinda like the days of $1000 takatoku/bandai vf-1s. Especially now that there are $1000 Sdf-1s, $300 Max Vf-1S, $500 VF-1D, etc.

I think it was around $600 for both sets. The most expensive non-anime toy purchase will be the upcoming re-release of Bandai's Otona no Chogokin Apollo 11/Saturn V set. That is if I keep my pre-order at HLJ...
