ron5864
Alright...I thought of building a Arii's 1/5000 SDF-1 Storm Attacker model kit for the MacrossCon10 in Los Angeles this year. Then I thought of putting it in a Lake Global, like in the TV series after that epic battle with Boddole's Zentraedi fleet. And then it got out of hand when I decided to build a miniature Macross City around it.... This diorama is about 85% complete with more parts of the city to be added. And it will probably be at the Con in October. More photos of it later on.

Mog
It's purty!! You weren't kidding about things getting out of hand with the surrounding city. Are you planning to add any other details to the Macross itself, like all those wires and cables that connected it to the city? Very nice work indeed!! ron5864
Thanks everyone. I am still working on it and hopefully can post some update photos in a few weeks. A brief history....I did built the Macross City with the SDF-1 on the island a couple of years ago. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=1022 I did planned on bringing it to MacrossCon09 but it was purchased by another Macrossworld member before the Con. This time however, this diorama will be at the Con10.
