"Love Drifts Away" was the translation given to me by one of the teachers at my high school (she was Japanese, but oddly enough, she was the Spanish teacher...fluent in Japanese (of course), English, Spanish, French, and Italian), but I could've sworn that the "official" English version said "goes." (Really, "nagareru" could either be viewed as "drifts" or "flows"...it's the word used for describing how a river moves.) Life is just not fair. As for Love Drifts Away. The Macross Music compilation that I have on my computer, which I torrented, titles the song Love Drifts Away. The version of SDF Macross TV that I watched/have also uses Drifts. She would be my first choice as she can actually take over the job of flying the VF, as I obviously know jack poo about how to fly it in a RL situation, and also in contrast to Edgar she is a girl with a super hot meltran mode and I would love to replay the Basara:Emilia scene in M7: the movie. Even though it would probably be ultra awkward in a RL situation. Now I can't decide between Edgar or Mylene. Meh, I take Mylene she's a girl. Robotech - don't shudder like that - was my favorite 'cartoon' as a kid, and I would say that 'Lisa Hayes' was my first crush. Yes... I was young... She's a hard ass with a tender heart, and though I like Ranka a whole lot, there's just no beating the original. As for Sheryl, she is a pale imitation for a go-getter heroine. Yes, Misa crashed the plane - I actually havn't seen DYRL yet... - but after if there would be anyone I would rather have covering my back it would be her.
