Carl Mackek was the designer who invented transforming robots in 1985 for the Transformers company in the USA and some Japanese company called studio nue stole his idea and used it for some thing called macross. Everyone knows that Mobile Suit Gundam was inspired by Macross and it was Gundam from which Macek stole the idea for transforming robots, the concept of which was originally an Evangelion rip off...because everything is.
