Since I don't own one or seen one in person or physically held one, can you smarties give me your feedback as to which of the 4 toy makers produce the best Alpha Fighter. I believe there's CM corp, Toynami, Brave and Aoshima. What are their pros and cons between the 3, QC, worksmanship, paint or tampo apps etc.

It seems like the well known figure/toy company acquired the Robotech (Macross) license via Harmony Gold/Funimation. While I don't want to give any money to HG, Threezero is established toy company making a bunch of Transformer figures and other Anime figures. Something to keep an eye out for.... Probably it's gonna be non-transform action figure type Their website

Went to Target this morning to look for the Transformers Prime Season 1 Blu-ray set. No dice. They can stock stupid crap like The Tooth Fairy 2 on Blu-ray, but not Transformers, I guess. They did have the DVD version though, if you need that. I wound up ordring it on Amazon. I'm using to paying more for Blu-rays than DVDs, but double? Yeesh.

Presenting the thread dedicated to Bandai's high-end action figure lines: S.H. Figuarts S.H. Figuarts is Bandai's answer to Kaiyodo's Revoltech and Max Factory's Figma lines, with figures that boast extreme detail and poseability, coupled with a vast array of features and accessories. The line consists mainly of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai figures, but there are also figures for anime characters from Dragon Ball, One Piece, Tiger & Bunny and Doraemon, as well as Hollywood blockbusters like Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here's an example: Juzo Fuwa from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (a.k.a. Deker from Power Rangers Samurai), a Tamashii Web exclusive: The line also includes S.H. ORIGINAL POST: I did some searching for a thread dedicated to just showing off entire Macross collections and displays and there were only a few threads with individuals posting only their collection. Or there were collection pics hidden in other threads about display cases or toy pictures. I love to see how people display their toys so here's a new thread where everyone can participate to share their collections. This is a new dedicated thread for people to show off ONLY pictures of their Macross Collection Displays. You can post pictures of how you display them whether it's in a cabinet, glass displays, book cases, whole rooms, etc. NO pictures of individual toys since there is already a thread for that. Lets see all our Macross collections in 1 place! I'll start by showing off a section of my rearranged Macross toys in my custom detolf cabinet displays. I'm still working on rearranging the rest of the room so i'll post those later. 1/48 displays I also recently purchased mini acrylic display signs so i can label my collection for fun. need to make them for the rest of my displays and i'll post them later. This was my old display room circa summer 2009, but i'll post updated pics soon

Ah, the enigmatic Graham just refined his hint, so thought we might as well open up a new thread to discuss it. For one thing, we know it can't be Macross or Votoms. I don't think it's gonna be Orguss since Graham mentioned that another company is doing some Orguss stuff already. It's gotta make 'a lot of Macrossworlders happy' so it should be something we're familiar with. I personally would have wanted Mospeada mecha like the Mospeada itself or even better the Alpha fighters (lots of repaint possibilities on that one too so it would make sense from a practical standpoint. Hmmm...

I'm not really interested in finding or posting in other toy forums, but my Macross love led to finding other toys I loved of course. I recently got a bunch of Alien toys to play with (and more on the way soon hopefully), and I usually like to mix it up with my Macross stuff. So, I thought I'd make a place here for posting pics of your non Macross stuff and/or for your crossover episodes. So if you're playing with your other toys, figures, etc and/or mixing it up, please take a pic and post it here! I'll start the thread off with this somewhat accidental pose. My NECA Aliens Queen figure wouldn't stay upright, so I dejectedly placed her like this and then thought it would make a great pose with the Toynami valks that I keep at work (that also don't like to stay put). Btw, if you're on the fence about buying this Alien Queen figure, don't waste your money unless you're a die hard fan and need to have this in your life. She is badly proportioned (well admittedly, she was in the movie too), doesn't like to stay standing (impossible without the stands), the stands suck, the joints are weak, some of mine broke almost immediately, the back spikes are impossible to get installed properly without glue, and other than looking awesome, she just sucks as a figure for the $120 she costs! But maybe I'm expecting too much.

One of the most beloved animated series of the '80s will finally get a DVD release. According to the link below, Shout! Factory has acquired the Region 1 DVD rights to all 75 episodes of M.A.S.K. Now if only Hasbro reissued the classic Kenner toys... DVD Plans for M.A.S.K.
