  1. Are we talking about the head sculpt of the specific model, Or the the design of the Unicorn Gundam's head in general? If we're talking about the latter, I like the Unicorns head design. If we're talking about the former, I was too busy being amazed by the way it moves on it own to notice.
  2. what are you talking about? it's a gundam head, it looks like every other gundam head ever.
  3. Stop making me want to buy stuff! and I'll need 2 VF-25G's if I get tornado armor form them, since it looks really good with the tornado parts in fighter mode, but I think it looks better naked in battroid mode.
  4. well most of the time they're shown firing impossible numbers of micromissiles in the animation so... but I want crazy recon and VIP transport versions. but 6 isn't too bad, the VF-0 book only had 2 and the first VF-1 book technically only had 3. Anyways. as cool as it would be to see things like the VF-11 or VF-17 get books, I'd rather them get around to obvious stuff like a another VF-25 book. for one I really want a book covering the super/armor/tornado parts for the VF-25, and beyond that I really want to see some extended coverage of derivative designs like the YF-24, VF-27 and YF-29.
  5. that Looks so good. I kind of want to get the G tornado parts even though I don't have a 25G...
  6. Super VF-171EX+ by Mike - drowning in plastic, on Flickr Super VF-171EX+ by Mike - drowning in plastic, on Flickr
  7. I know exactly how the legs transform, the sculpt is still ugly in both modes for no reason. They don't look like megatons legs in bot mode and they don't look like a pistol grip in gun mode. Yes they wanted to keep the legs symmetrical, but they could have at least sculpted the legs to look correct in robot mode from the front and outer sides and just live with how the pistol grip turns out. It wouldn't look any worse than what they went with.
  8. I still don't have a single VF-1J.
  9. ugh, that's about the only version of this mold I wouldn't buy.
  10. Am I the only one who things the Vinyl stickers look absolutely atrocious for something this expensive?
  11. I get the general impression that people are willing to forgive a lot more with limited kit's than they are with something that's mass produced and pre-assembled.
  12. They could easily have made the pistol grip better proportioned and more like a proper pistol grip and it would have probably made the legs look better and more like G1 Megatron's legs.
  13. So what you're saying is that if this was a $900 resin kit with only 20 units made, that only the most affluent of collectors could afford, that would be ok. But because they're producing it as a finished toy at a reasonable price, allowing a wide audience of collectors the chance to own and enjoy it, it's evil and wrong.
  14. That would be Kinect Star Wars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinect_Star_Wars basically it's your standard crap star wars game but built around Kinect controls, then there's a crazy bonus game that's more or less a reskinned Dance Central with a Star Wars theme. needless to say the dance minigame is the only part worth actually playing, because it's hilarious and Dance Central is one of the few legitimately fun and functional uses of the Kinect.
  15. Guess who's coming to rape all your other figma's: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-007720&page=top
  16. listing just went up, got the light version because it went up first... april 2015... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-007719&page=top The heavy armament version is apparently a GSC web store exclusive. http://goodsmile-global.ecq.sc/maxwhswd00001.html/?utm_source=GSCPRODUCT&utm_medium=4562&utm_campaign=http://goodsmile-global.ecq.sc/maxwhswd00001.html
  17. sounds a lot like 1/1 lowViz Lurker
  18. Oh Yamato-chan, why must you be so beautiful, and expensive... :( 11,000 yen for the basic version: and 18,333 for the heavy weapons version: I kind of want the DX version, but it's so expensive, and you can better appreciate how perfect she is without the ship parts and water effect. but those guns...
  19. Here's a hypothetical question: would people be willing to accept unlicensed third party companies making high quality knock offs of official first party items that the original manufactures are no longer making? For instance, what if somebody started making exact replicas of the 1/48 VF-1, since we know Arcadia didn't even pick up the molds from Yamato and has no intention or revisiting that mold. Or, perhaps the VF-25 armor parts. as much as people wish they'd get a reissue, you know there's about a 90% certainty that bandai will never repop them, and the secondary market price is ridiculous right now.
  20. I'm of several minds about 3.33; it did look really good visually, and had some of the best action of the series. but it took all the good stuff they had done in the last two film which made them better than the show and threw all of it out the window then gave you a massive flaming middle finger. But, that's more or less par for the course with EVA, massive trolling and frakk THE FANS moves are practically GAINAX tradmarks at thsi point.
  21. Game isn't even out yet, but 3A is teasing figures (which means we won't see a sculpt for another year and preorders won't be until a year after that). http://www.worldofthreea.com/threea-production-blog/3axdestiny Oh yeah, and their 1/6 Halo 4 Master Chief is tentatively scheduled for a September preorder window. There's also an as yet unseen Halo Spartan figure listed for October: http://www.worldofthreea.com/threea-production-blog/y1etk753utml8twjz39e7v4h5h4q62
