  1. I feel kind of dumb; I've transformed this thing back and forth several times now and I just now realized that the shoulders can pull away from the body for extra articulation. It also makes for enough room to leave the legs pegged in place while in gerwalk, which solves my main complaint with that mode.
  2. There are easy cases to be made for other Shamallamaduck movies being objectively worse, but by far the most disappointing was the Village. Never in my entire life have I come out of a theater so pissed off at how bullshit the ending to a movie was.
  3. I just stuck a speck of blu-tac to his ass, even easier.
  4. I've got an original, 1.0, non-fast pack VF-27, and it's pretty bad. I kind of want to get the half renewal version. I like the design, I like the fast packs, and it is an improvement over the one I have. But I just can't get over all the things that they didn't fix or could have been fixed better had they done an entirely new toy instead of just retrofitting a really mediocre one.
  5. pictures please, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
  6. Pulling the foot off was kind of an accident. As for the pins, they're steel spring pins, they're actually larger than the diameter of the hole and are under a fair amount of pressure. They where tricky to get back in but they were still tight.
  7. Kind of agree, The Isamu 29 has the best scheme overall but I like the head on the Ozma better. But more importantly, I like the head and paint scheme A LOT better than the Ozma VF-25S. basically, that's my Ozma in my collection, so I don't have to loose my mind trying to get a VF-25S. (and I've got an arcadia Y-19, so I needed an Ozma something before I got a second Isamu. I might get an Isamu 29 down the line though, if the prices hold steady long enough).
  8. Not as nice as this one, IMO. but then again I'm quite partial to white hair and animal ears:
  9. The frontier valks I've gotten so far: To The Frontier... by Mike - drowning in plastic, on Flickr Still waiting on my YF-25 to ship, the RVF-171 to get released, and the VF-25G to get reissued. Not sure what else to get frontier-wise after that...
  10. oh yeah, and to get the pins out (which I ended up doing at one point) you need a set of roll pin punches. I've got a set like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Grip-Roll-Pin-Punch-Set/dp/B003L7HOMG I forget what size specifically you need to use but it's in there. (if your wondering, I bought the set because bandai Uses roll pins everywhere on their valks). Anyways, I've never had luck with future personally. I use loctite brand super glue, always take the joints completely apart, and let the stuff dry completely before putting things back together. also, everything sticks better to plastic, so apply whatever it is you're appling to the plastic part of the joint (in this case that would be half of the ball itself).
  11. So yeah, that's how you take apart the ankles on a YF-19 and nearly break a $300 import toy.
  12. Maybe SPACY just has very laxe policies regarding the use of hair coloring products. And amongst the supplies the SDF-1 salvaged after folding out to Pluto were a few cargo containers full of blue hair dye.
  13. Like I said, I was told this (by david). I don't really see it either.
  14. As tragic as any motorsports fatality is, I think it's pretty clear what happened and who's culpable for this accident.
  15. I've been told that the unique elements of MP-03 aren't accurate to any variant of the F-15 and that the MP-11 version is closer in overall shape to an actual F-15C.
  16. Nora's SV-51 is magenta, I want a valk in violet purple.
  17. FYI, the YF-30 has one of the simplest, most straightforward transformations of any Valk yet.
  18. Toy Speculation spoils the fun for everyone. Just saying. (and I'm using both definitions of the word speculation here).
  19. Articulated joints are great on something mechanical like a valk, but when It comes to human figures, I still prefer statues. there's less play value with fixed pose, but the aesthetic benefit of not having obtrusive joints is worth the trade off.
  20. I've been playing more with the Atlas lately, and it's really become my favorite overall. I'm so ridiculously excited for mine to get here. As for the other two, I'd probably end up getting an Ogre, but a stryder would have to either be cheaper, or come with A female sniper pilot for me to get one.
  21. Funny, I've got an MP-11 based Thundercracker on my shelf right now. I wonder how that got their if they haven't made one?
  22. The Blues are too blue, the grays are too gray, and the snozzberries taste too much like snozzberry.
  23. I just don't get why they don't make a version with adjustable shelf hight. With most valks, you could drop all the shelves down enough to fit an extra shelf and still clear the toys on every level.
  24. Me too, and I want C-3PO to buy it for me with Pepsi points.
