    Nice picks skull. Prowl was my fave g1 character, but MP streak may be my fave MP. The red, silver and black make him really pop.

    Damn, I was three hours away from seeing it on screen this weekend, but I finally did watch it at home. Loved the film. It was melodramatic, but so was the original series, and that one of the things I loved about it. I believe it was the first cartoon I remember from my childhood where characters actually bit the bullet.

    MY MP prowl had some of the black paint missing on the door. I'll have to touch it up with a paint marker. I should get MP streak delivered on Monday or Tuesday. Too bad I'll be out of town all week.

    Yeah one of my armors from Ny arrived as well. The reaction missiles are ginormous. I loathe the circular pieces that connects the wings to the body. It takes way too much effort to remove and place them in correctly.

    I think it may be a factory reject. The packaging and other materials seem on par with my MP-sideswipe. The quality of the toy is were the differences become apparent. The paint quality in some areas and the misspellings are the only major issues. I didn't get robbed. I strongly suspected that the there were some slight issues with the toy due to it being priced 1/2 as to what the MP is currently going for. I assumed that the seller had a batch of toys that made their way out of the back door of the factor due to QC issues.

    I picked up a 'discounted' MP red alert. Not a bad toy for the price. The lambo and countach spellings were the only major detraction's. Last weekend I saw Metroplex in one of the stores.

    IS $50 a good price for a boxed reissue G1 prowl and $ 42 for reissue blue streak? They have them both in my LCS.

    I think everyone should calm down. Affleck can act. His last several pics have demonstrated his acting chops. I think he can pull off Bruce Wayne in his sleep, and he probably resembles the character better than any other choice to date. The real question will be how he will fare as batman. I would've preferred a lesser known actor, but I think he will pair very well with Cavil on screen. I think that Affleck will be able to give the character an arrogant sort of superiority or upsmanship that is critical for Batman to be seen as a equal or superior to an person that is practically a god. Batman has to gave an strategic/critical thinking edge that will allow him to coexist with superpowered people. As much as I love Nolan's take on the character, this upcoming film is not that universe. Any director that would touch the batman/superman franchise, whether right or wrong is going to reinterpret the character no matter what. Nolan's realistic Batman wouldn't work in a universe that has superpowered aliens from the land of dinoriders. I think Affleck is one of the few actors that could straddle the line of someone that is playing a billionaire playboy/ someone with the intellect that could outwit/out duel Superman's vast array of abilities. Maybe with this redo, we'll finally get to see the detective in the darknight. Nolan gave us very little of this as his batman relied too heavily on Fox/Alfred/ Gordon to do all of the real thinking will he did the punching.

    I bought the blue ray as well. I liked the film. I wish they would show more cobra troopers in any possible sequels.

    Yeah, I caved and picked up luke and R2D2 at target today. Had I gone there yesterday like I planned, I likely would've been able to get the whole wave. They are pretty awesome figs. I hadn't bought a SW toy in over a decade.
