STAR WARS Merchandise Episode - 2
Golden Arms replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I stepped into Target last night and saw remnants of the last black series wave. They had Chewbacca, ROTJ Luke, and the target exclusive black Storm troopers. -

Wow, just Wow!! Good critique Mr M. I definitely like that it seems to have more human elements than the prequel. I hope that the film focuses more the human characters and keep the CGI alien characters to a minimum. Definitely feels Star Wars. The light saber is impractical but cool nonetheless. Kind of reminds me of the Quincy crosses in bleach.

The MW Automotive Thread 5.0 GT
Golden Arms replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I hear ya and don't really disagree. :)Two extra seats mean a great deal for insurance purposes. Also means you can get a third passenger in the car or extra cargo room. The GT500's and cobra's weren't that far behind the Vette performance wise. With the updated suspension I bet the GT500 will continue to nip at the Vettes heels in overall performance. Ford abandoned the IRS with the terminator because so many people were taking them out of the cars and replacing them with the Solid rear axle for track purposes, so they assumed people didn't want them in the cars. Now that the brand has matured I'm sure there will be other handling and suspension upgrades to the Shelby line which will keep it not that far off from the vette. I'm with you on all of the extras, which is why I want a new car! All of the new tech and vehicle performance has me lusting for a more modern vehicle. It's really a great time to be a fan of American made sports cars as Ford, GM and Dodge have really stepped up their games. The vette and Mustang Interiors are no longer an afterthought. -
No, We can kinda infer that Mystique impersonates Stryker and initiates the Weapon X program. This time recruiting mutants for service and not using them as lab rats. The politicians stated that they should maybe recruit their own mutants and maybe that's Weapon X or Dept H in Wolvie's case. Mystique didn't kill Stryker so we can assume that he returns at some point and still carries out the Weapon X program augmenting Wolvie and the other Mutants. They kinda made a point that she hadn't embraced Magneto's violent ways of dealing with people so Stryker is assumed to still be alive.

The MW Automotive Thread 5.0 GT
Golden Arms replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I hope your right on the pricing. I figured that a base 350 would at least start at low to mid 50's since a GT premium would approach 50K. Then after options your looking mid 60's . I'd love to score a GT, GT350 or a new Vette sometime next year. Mid 60's would be a little more than I would be willing to spend on a car. So maybe back to looking at the GT. -

Yeah I bet it will be around 70K. The current GT fully loaded runs mid 50's to low 60's, so I bet the GT350 will start somewhere more than that. The GT500 will probably have around 700 HP so I expect it will be near 90K. -
LOL , it was a bad fanfic film. The death of Xavier was a cool scene though. I wonder what are Fox's plans for the series post Apocalypse. They have the Gambit and Wolverine films on the horizon, but after that crickets. I couldn't imagine that the first class group would continue with the series. And they have done a terrible job building up other characters that could spin off their own series.

Chung wouldn't be bad. It's not like they would give her much to do anyway. If they included the character, she would likely have a very small part in the film.

I really dig the new GT350. The 2015 Mustang looks so much better in person. The front grows on you. I want to see the pricing on the Shelby 350 -

The Miata's are the top selling sports car. Go figure. Yeah, the 280Z's with a body kit are very nice. Very Nice video A1. I want to take the GT for a test drive. All of the review's I've seen on YouTube have stated that the car is quieter inside the cabin. Hopefully they will fix they understeer and wheel hop with next years version. I'd like to get my hands on a black or blue GT. -

Back in 04 I strongly considered getting an RX8, but I finally decided on my Mustang. I've always liked the RX7 and ditto for the RX8. Besides mustangs, I would love to get my hands on a early 80's Datsun or Nissan 28ZX. On the show Wheeler dealers, they restored a Delorean and had to go to the Delorean shop in Humble TX for parts. That has been the good thing about the cars that I own as new parts are cheap/readily available and I've been able to find a lot of other parts on Craigslist. Last summer I scored a rebuilt T5 Tranny/bellhousing in 10 minutes from my mothers house in Dallas for under $600. -

I get the Mustang, but I'm a huge Mustang Fan , and the classic car experience can be an exercise in patience. This past fall I was in Naples Fl and there was a auto dealer that had about 8 deloreans in their parking lot. I should've taken pictures but was too lazy. As a owner of a classic car, I would caution that if you decide to go that route then have plenty of patience. It can be frustrating at times mainly dealing with shops if you aren't doing most of the restorative work yourself. I'd look for a car that didn't need much work to complete it. Since you also live in TX you also have the option of registering the car in several ways which can save you some coin if you don't intend to drive it that often. -

I picked up several of the Walgreens exclusive star wars black line. I couldn't find Luke, but scored Vader, Chewbacca and Boba Fett -
I think DC will get their film franchises in order. All of the recent talk about their approach to the upcoming films suggest that the realize the stakes and are taking the up most care. I like most of the casting choices they have made recently. If Bats v Superman delivers then I think the public will be greatly energized about their other upcoming releases. Bats V Superman is supposed to have appearances by most of the planned justice league which should be great advanced marketing for when these other characters start their film franchises.

Ugh this is the vf-171 we are talking about. Transform at your own risk. Mine will stay forever in Fighter mode unless I buy a second one. I bought 2 copies of the CF and Alto's version and both of them are represented in battroid and fighter. I assume we will get a weapons and ghost set down the road.

Add me to the list that sprung for this release. I also have the original release, with sound boosters. The gold and extra figures was too much to pass up. -

I hear ya, and I agree with you. That's why I never got into collecting them in the first place. I think HT should look at what Danny Choo has done with his smart doll and try to incorporate a similar indo skeleton for their figures. I think his doll has a little more articulation than their figures. His telescoping figure stand is also better than their average fare. -

Ditto for me on Prowl. He was my favorite G1 toy as a kid. My brother and I had to share Optimus Prime, and we had most of the early minibots. I'm thinking of picking up one of the prowl, smokescreen and bluestreak KO's and dealing them up with some third party stickers I got for the Takara releases. Future masterpieces I want are Hound, Jazz, Sunstreaker, Hot Rod, Cliff Jumper, and Mirage- 17228 replies
