    Nolan's Batman only works in the self contained universe that he created. He went for a hyper realistic depiction of Batman that could never coexist in a world with aliens, amazons, and advanced tech. Bales batman seemed to dull to ever be considered an equal threat to superman. So they reset the universe as they should. Besides, this film will likely tie into the Batman V Superman.

    I know about the red suit. . Its likely the reason Bruce stopped being batman. I like the direction DC decided to take with their films. Everyone and their mothers would've criticized them for copying Marvel's formula if they decided to release solo films of the characters before a JL movie. This approach is different and fresh and that's what Warner Bros needed. The trailer gives us a little gem, if you read between the lines that makes wonder woman's presence ultimately necessary and not crammed as some suggest. She and other heroes will be necessary if a possible theory is correct. The heart of this film also gets to a lot of the critiques that were leveled at MOS for not directly saving Metropolis. Bruce and the rest of the world are in fear of someone that has the ability of a God. I think they will keep the backstories to a minimum, even though Bruce Wayne is critical to why he will be at odds with Superman. The deaths of his families ( parents, hanging batsuit, Financial building IE people that work for him and Gotham decay are hanging over his consciousness and ultimately pull him back into the game. That defaced newspaper he is reading works on some many levels for such a physiologically damaged character as batman.

    Definitely looking forward to this. The defaced 'batsuit' has parallels to the dark knight returns and the death of Jason Todd.

    Large collection here. I also keep all my boxes. Some are stored in my walk in closet, some are stored in a 2nd bedroom closet, and some are stored in the garage.

    Yeah, this movie looks like utter garbage. Typical disposable summer film that begs the question why was this film even green lighted? After the last 3 terminator films no one was asking for a return to this franchise. The films are getting progressively worse. Hopefully this will be the final nail in the coffin and the studio can move onto something else.

    Picked up both of my copies from the post office. Big props to Hobby search and Solaris Japan. They both did a good job of packaging my toys.

    Just cancelled my PO with Hlj. They are showing the toy as discontinued. I was able to get copies from two other sites.

    It's still up for order on HLJ. It says waiting for stock if you order. Maybe Bandai has started making larger production runs for these toys The YF-29B is also up for order as well!

    I doubt it. Hopefully the 19 won't turn into a floppy mess like all of their other releases. Getting tired shoulders that won't stay on or hold their pose (29) and hips that loosen after one transformation.

    Do we know how big the advance will be relative to Bandai's other releases? I don't recall ever seeing any pics of it alongside the frontier fighters or the YF-30.

    They stated an Autumn release for the toy, so this late in the game I doubt we'll see many improvements on what has been shown thus far. I'm at odds with this toy because I detest Mac II and have never been overly fond of the design of this fighter. But I do care enough about it, that if someone where to make a decent toy of the 2SS I would like to add it to my collection. If I purchased one, I would leave it in fighter mode as I believe its best mode of Evolutions pictures.

    Solaris Japan.com also has the yf-19 listed for preorder. Their price is higher than NY, but the preorder is still open.
